Can someone please tell me why my post was deleted?

I am interested, however that is much more expensive then I would be able to afford.

I think it does have value though. It has by far the most number of posts as any other account on the forum and has a certain level of respect that probably no other account has
so you wont buy? is that what you made that post to say?
if mine was, quickseller's should be deleted as well, all he did was enter and say that he doesnt have enough to buy the account, this is absolute politics, all he is doing is stating the obvious for sig money

are we blind??? can we not click the account link and see this??? what exactly did you try do do with this post quickseller? state the obvious for sig money?
Mods, does the fact that his post is over 1 line mean that this in not spam??

and ofcourse you are all going to come and jump to quickseller's defence

edit: this is also spam
I got an iphone 6 plus and it works perfectly fine on it, sure you will have to zoom in a few times to be able to tap easier but you get used to it and besides that everything works correctly, you can tap on anything you could click.
op didnt ask what kind of phone he had or how it works on his phone or if he has to zoom in and how to click

Think someone reported it as off topic. I left/ignored it as it was boderline but another mod must've felt it was appropriate to delete.

was quickseller's post needed? does the fact that it is on topic mean it is not spam?

that's not just a spam. he said that it is too expensive for him. people will interpret that as "lower the price a bit and I'll think about it"

you want to see spam? this guy (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=445431) just made 20 post in less than a hour, and he's not even wearing a sig.

when you see a post that you think is a spam. report them. there's no need to reply to that post without contributing to the topic. or if you did, edit that post and add something valuable

You could ask was your post really needed too? If a post is on topic then it's generally not spam (and QS's was on topic).

So why didnt he just ask for a lower price? did he have to put in 3 lines into it, just makes me think he is trying too hard to make his posts look constructive

someone opens a thread about tomato seeds and you come talking about spinach, dont worry, both are vegetables so no spam here right?

that's a question that only Quickseller can answer. it's his post. I personally think additional comments like that as encouraging further discussion, but that's just my opinion.

So according to you merely asking for a lower price wouldn't be spam, but because he wrote three lines including stating that he'd be interested if it was lower that suddenly makes it spam?

What the hell are you talking about. I don't see how this is relevant. It's like someone opening up a thread selling tomato seeds and QS says he will buy them but for lower and you coming in and off topic asking if he's going to buy them.

Oh, and double posting is unnecessary and considered spam. You can edit them into one post.

Then why dont you guys take a page out of hack-forum's book and combine posts automatically?
how about this "I will buy if price is lower" his sig manager may says that that post doesnt deserve money but, expand that into 3 unnecessary lines and you will surely get paid for that post, do you see where i'm aiming at?

Good idea. You should suggest it for the new forum.

Well it's your opinion that he's doing that but he's damned if he does and damned if he doesn't. Whatever he wrote you would view it as spam so he cannot win and if it is pointlessly padding his posts then that's up to his sig manager to enforce but I don't see anything wrong with it from my end.

He will soon wear one. His motive to post 20post/hour was to unleash his potential activity(by the motive of becoming a fm to join sig campaign).

I don't think so, he has more posts than activity, so he only needed to make one post to gain 14 activity. I haven't looked at his posts though.

If you are talking bout this guy - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=445431 , then he has posts = activity and with 9 more posts he'll become a FM and hi5, I too haven't looked at his posts :P

I don't appreciate when more than 1 members keeps saying that my price is too high repeatedly on the same post but some members too seem interested in buying the product/account. Quickseller's post dint seem off topic as he showed interest in buying the account but if he keeps saying the same thing on other threads, it would be considered only spam.

He might be looking for better buying options, and so what's the harm in saying the same thing on different threads? After all I don't think his signature pays for them.

Posting "price is too high" in many threads is trying to increase post count/activity and is certainly spam. FYI one does not need to wear any signature for posts to become spam.

There is absolutely no logic in your statement, if the price is too high, and you say its too high, then it is spam and was only used to increase post count?

For one or two posts, it is okay. But... posting it each and every time is spamming. The latter is done without any interest and is obviously for increasing post count.

A normal person wouldn't repeat the same post on all threads (and not all selling threads quote high prices). If one does it they are either getting benefitted from their post or are just trolling. There is a PM option too and if one is interested in buying, they can bargain with the user via PM.
