idk if thats a real story really, it would be really cool. But is Mitt Romney paying the ransom of 1Mill BTC for his 1040 Taxes?

I doubt he does, but I would imagine someone is going to respond to Larry Flynt's bounty of $1 million for his tax returns. 

One wonders why these scumbags don't offer $1,000,000 for Obama's college transcripts? 

What's interesting about those?  No one is asking for Romney's college transcripts either, and he went to the same school.  Is there some conspiracy theory that Obama didn't really go to Harvard? 

Both are private info.....it seems fine to offer bribes for one, but taboo for the other.

they did show proof, they sent a package to the facility that it was stolen from and they sent encrypted files with the 1040s on them to media outlets, I guess well know for sure in 11 days.

Not sure he released all information for all years.  He cannot pay the bounty or it would be obvious he is covering up something.  It would be worse for him to pay the bounty unless the returns have horrible information that is also beyond belief.  I personally hope the bounty is not paid and the documents are released.  That would be more interesting than other outcomes.

He is very rich, so obviously paid very little tax.  Its not rocket science.  The rich dont earn their money, its paid in dividends etc which are taxed at a very beneficial rate.  The returns he has released state he paid around 13% tax in those years.  A lot less than the 40% I am paying (I am not an American).  13% sounds very appealling to me!

he paid everything he is legally obligated to pay.. he has a very healthy income.. nothing wrong with being successful.

I highly doubt the hacker has any dirt on Mittens.. as much as I want it there to be.

I doubt he will pay, he would be more interested in finding the people responsible for getting his data.

The rumor is that Obama filed for scholarships as a resident of Kenya. Part of that whole, "birther" conspiracy.
