Title: [2015-06-18]Bitcoin Dictators Inflate Block Size Debate
Post by: SparkedDev on June 19, 2015, 12:02:34 AM
Found this to be a good read but, im stuck on which side to be on.
I'm kinda on the side of the point of view, that non coders shouldn't really have an opinion.
For them it just works and they just randomly following the crowd.

I think this thing being hashed out now towards the end of this bear market is what needs to happen prior to the next onslaught of action. Since there's so many options to buy in a panic situation across the world at this point, it only makes sense to handle the block size atm so we can fly high in the near future when the time is right.

I don't know enough about the blockchain to comment on that, I know that for certain, I think though if there aren't really any downsides to increasing the block size then we should probably do it if it's to cope with transaction volume and such.

That is the main problem... People are being told not to comment, if you were not in some way directly involved in the development of the Bitcoin code. {Read Mike Hearn's leaked email to Adam}

You have a right to your opinion, whether you are a developer, engineer, bitcoin owner, ......

They have all the information needed to make an informed decision... {Some are part of the proccess, and some are there to give advice, based on their previous experience and knowledge}

Their personal agendas and personal interest should not come into play here...

The "Mushroom strategy" {Keep them in the dark and feed them bullshit} should not apply here.

You ask your questions and you give your opinion, and if they differ from you, they can proof you wrong with the facts. {If you are wrong, you appologise and you ask your next question}

This is how it's supposed to work.
