Hi Everybody,

I wanted to let you know I just started the minion faucet. It gives a 1000 satoshi every hour with a 3 tier referral system and it pays to a faucetbox account.

Hello, the faucet looks nice but it's really hard to read all the white written words on minion background. Maybe a good idea will be to change the text color or put between text and background a matte black square.

Yeah I am looking for a way to solve this. Now got something else than the white letters but it is still not really readable but it is looking awesome :P

Hard to read but nice faucet. I have added it to my faucetlist (http://www.kwaasteniet.eu/faucet)

The words are really difficult to read with that contrast. Also some words have font sizes too big that makes the words overlap other items. Why not you add a background that is rather transparent, probably a dark one that gives the words a little contrast to make it stand out and easier to read.

Other than that the rewards are fine, and I love minions too! :)

so you can increase your earning.
referrer earnings is not set yet...but the sooner you have referrals,they cannot be taken by other ones...

I load the captcha in from another site so I don't have any control over it showing or not. I hope it worked out in the end else let me know then I will contact the ones who are providing the catpcha.

This weekend I didn't have enough time to keep the faucet alive and this will probably happen a few times more the coming weeks as I have some things planned in the coming weekends. I will try to have as little downtime as possible but there is always a possibility that the faucet will dry out at times.

Further more everyone thank you for the reactions :) I will try to fix the background issue as soon as possible but I want to do it right this time so it might take some time.

I just tested and 1000 satoshi go to my faucetbox.

Hmm, I just claimed and got nothing in my FaucetBox acct. Again. If the faucet is empty, it should say so.

It is what I want to avoid with winspiral's faucet...

Whenever i claim my satoshi, it tells me that 1000 was send to my faucetbox.
After 10 minutes i receive 10 satoshi from it in my faucetbox, and an hour later, i get another 10 satoshi..
ffs.. If you don't have enough balance, just say so.

I removed it from my list.

No rewards @ my faucetbox but sites says I won 1k satoshis.

Whew something fishy.

After looking at the payouts at faucetbox I also noticed there is something going wrong in the script. I recently refactored some stuff so that's probably were it went wrong. I will be looking into this step by step to make sure that it will be working perfectly. Until such time I will take the faucets offline and I will post it here when the faucet will be back online.

Please told us when this problem will be solved and maybe increase for some days the satoshis to reconquer the visitors you are losing.

I think i found the error and fixed it. If someone still doesn't get paid please let me know either here or on info@minionfaucet.com. please provide a screenshot that it says you should get paid, your btc address and the time of the claim.

For those who had comments on me not being able to fix it straight away:

Beside working on the faucet I do have a full time job which is also coding and so I can work on this only in the evenings and do not always have time to jump on stuff like this. Please keep that in mind before you start about it again next time

It turns out that the problem wasn't fixed. I will build up the script from the ground up again just to make sure this time there won't be an error. THIS IS GONNA TAKE A FEW DAYS!!!!!!
So please don't start again with not fixed yet I will let you know when its done this is probably gonna be monday.

No news from the OP now. His last post here is June 26. Well I think this faucet is dead now.

The faucet is not dead yet. How ever lately I didn't have the time or the energy to work on it as I was very close to a burnout. This week I will try to get it all working again and move from faucetbox to XAPO as as far as I can see the error is not in my script but that I get a false reading from faucetbox.

Faucets that use XAPO directly is great too. Direct to wallet and no minimum threshold.

It's impossible that XAPO CS didn't responding. I send several query to them and they responded quickly. And all users have the same experience. Make a follow up then.

The faucet is up again!!!!!

After the rewrite there was a problem with my setup which I couldn't locate till today so it's working again.
Because of the rewrite I now know for sure that there is now hole in my script and that if there is an error of not being paid faucetbox is not sending me the correct code back which I can't fix ofcourse.

I will try to migrate the faucet away from faucetbox as soon as I can but keep in mind that I will leave for holiday on the 27th and won't be back for two weeks. As I also didn't know xapo was blocking countries I will look for another provider that I can use because I want to give everyone the chance to use the faucet.

I just send some bitcoin again to faucetbox so give it some time to confirm and I hope you will enjoy using the faucet again.

Yes I am getting the same error. After solving the captcha a blank page with the following text is displayed "Error in exception handler"

Apparently there was a file permission error. I fixed it now and it should stick this time as it didn't last time. The Faucet is now open for business ;)

I think you need to change the minion background into the simple one.
You can still use the minion picture, but you might need to reduce the amount of minion.
In addition, I found a problem when I was trying to claim your faucet.
There was a trouble every time  I completed the captcha.
It was an error.
I wish you could check and fix it,
so I can claim your faucet later.
