I would reduce the deforestation and help people get more practical education especially in poor and violent areas where kids are forced to take jobs because they don't get proper education, practical education in the sense making them learn about Cryptcurrency and Bitcoins, getting them hands-on internship etc, I think education for knowledge to earn money is way out of poverty which is one of the black-mark in our society, would love to get your opinions and thoughts on how you would impact the world when you are a billionaire.

Education to income generating work is very important, it's literally the way out of poverty.

I'd try to help the people's voice be heard more clearly by politicians, so governments aren't seen as this big imposing thing. I'd also try to help small businesses in poorer areas. Better business in a community can help improve the community.

Giving back to social causes would be another important thing I'd do. In some cases I'd get really involved in the cause and in other cases I'd just write the check.

Finally, I'd keep my consumption dialed back. I would become some massive spender...stealth wealth is where it's at, after the contributions and giving of course.

That very important for youth to give knowledge to be self-sufficient, If iam a billionaire i will build school when all of the payment using Bitcoin :)
such as monthly student payments, employee salaries, and most importantly the education to start a business that could use bitcoin payment

You have to fix the education system before you give it out to people.

I would invest about half my money into research and fund genius entrepreneurs which would provide me more profit. I would also have plans to recreate or preserve nature. Expand civilisation onto space and create new markets. Monetised future baby.   

If you educate people then they can earn the money themselves, though there's not always the jobs there once people do get the qualifications so I think looking at developing industries that will create thousands if not millions of new jobs.

Above all, I'd fund research/education focusing on transcending crapitalism in ways that don't evolve mass numbers of dead people.

Free healthcare to as many as i can afford to provide it to.
Free radical education (http://www.ted.com/talks/ken_robinson_changing_education_paradigms) to as many as I can afford to provide it to.
Free shelter to as many as I can afford to provide it to.
Free food to as many as I can afford to provide it to.

using bitcoins to do all that is a little too much giving some thing that will increase in value in the future is not going to work why would pay you with bitcoin knowing full well if you keep it with yourself it will be worth more. its like paying with gold there is a reason they stopped that and created cash

These will be my priorities, if I ever become a billionaire.

1. Protecting forests and other biodiversity hot-spots such as coral reefs and glaciers.
2. Sponsoring family planning in third world countries such as Niger and Mali.
3. Helping people such as Ross Ullbricht and Edward Snowden, who are the victims of banker terrorism.
4. Encourage people to use organic food.
5. Establish a libertarian micro-nation.

Feed the hungry and help the poor. Build a house and school for homeless children.

If I'm billionaire because of holding bitcoin, then I will make a school or any learning facilities that help especially for poor people. Because with education, we can move foward into global competition. Also I'm going to teach about bitcoin ( from intro until how to spend it) because bitcoin is amazing currency that will help people on the future.

I'll became a politician and will at least try to change my country (India), i'll arrest those undergoes corruption and will seize their nationality, i'll implement the existing rule with new rule (rules like that are saudi arabia), and have so many dreams...

Well. The only thing I could ever think of is create more employment. See you don't have to worry about education once you get a job to the parents. Better livong standards and Harmony.

Hey, that's a beautiful idea. Genius entrepreneurs are an important asset to our society. Preserving nature is a wise idea but recreating seems to unrealistic. I really appreciate your thoughts though, you seem like a man who deserves to have billion dollars.

i would try to limit the total birth in the world
i would try to get rid of all the junk food and decrease the cost of the organic foods, making it standard
i would try to offer a better hospital service
i would try to rise a system, where the wage will be equal for everyone, and not with people that are earning 100k in one month and other $500, it doesn't matter what your work is, everyone should be equally paid

I really imagined myself as a selfish asshole cunt chasing the moolah and not giving a fuck what people says. Why would this alternate personality of mine do something for the society? Just kidding, I'd invest a lot in space tech. I'd have resources and if I build prime monopoly, more money for me and more for the society :)

I'd pick several issues---low-income folks in need of legal services, decline in formation of new small businesses, need to rethink and retool education for a new 'Conceptual Age' in developed countries, et cetera--and solve them. I'd pick solvable problems, and then find solution(s). 

I think the best return on investment a billionaire can get from their philanthropy for people to almost forget that the problem solved was ever something people struggled with. Examples could diseases that have been taken care of, at least for the most part.

If i were a billionaire, I would put up a lot of company until i secure my life to gain lots of money without breaking sweat after successfully accomplished that, I raise my employees wages to fully compensate them for their hard work.

I have some knowledge and training in biochemistry so I'd probably open my own lab and conduct scientific experiments. Having a billion dollars or even a few million dollars would free me from having to submit grant proposals and relieve me of any teaching responsibilities that usually come with becoming a researcher at a college or university.

If anything good comes out of my research, I'd probably put it into the public domain just like the way Jonas Salk did with his polio vaccine.

Why does recreation of the nature seem unrealistic? You have billions of dollars, man. Spend shit load of money on the project and there wil come break through point. Come on, all amazing ideas seemed unrealistic. Thats what made them as beauitful as they have developed to be.

if i was a billionaire i would keep 100 million for my family to live on
and the 900 million i spend on trying to make free energy for the planet
i could turn sea water to drinking water
i could filter the sea from pollution
i could grow any food all year around under hydroponic lights
i could stop most of the co2 levels
i could burn most off the rubbish we dump
i could power transport for free
and if all failed i can say at least i tried and go live off me 100 million i still be happy and so would my family not greedy me ;) ;) :D :D :D :D :D

Do you mean Fixing the education system means feeding the correct information ?, I agree with you also, now a days the education systems made for the personal gains, power and prides. " The purpose of education is to replace an empty mind with an open one " told by Malcolm Forbes.

I'd get a big pile of gold coins and swan dive into it Scrooge McDuck style.

Push for the reform of local government.

Support young families with interest-less mortages.

Form think-tank, that would focus on local cultural revival.

I'd mostly invest in local businesses that generate real income and employment, not vaporware startups.

I'd travel around the world. Then I'd invest it on some businesses to create job field. I also want to build an orphanage or a school for abandoned kids in my country.

I'd find a way to escape it (society)!

Although a little bit old fashioned I will build libraries in order to educate people and of course there’ll be a bitcoin section.  ;D

I would take it all in $ones, thereby defunding the whole populace so that they would have to reduce the Fed to nothing and start over with Bitcoin. Of course, they could simply print more, so a $billion wouldn't be near enough.

If I'm getting billionaire , I will build my own company to hire unemployee. Ofcourse make some investation for future ( gold , property , etc )
Donate some to charity ( to help homeless )

Look to create new cheaper ways to house people would be my idea, no reason why so many people are homeless.

I'd follow Obama's advice: Reward my friends and punish my enemies.

And I have a much longer list of enemies than friends.  ;)

Charities. Get celebs to sign and endorse my charity for humane causes.

I would create a fund for families who are dealing with childhood cancers.

Definitely promote and introduce means for bitcoin to be used in those countries that could really need it and slowly bring them out of hardship and wipe out some of the crazy loans that other larger countries have bestowed upon them.

I would use my power to end the global financial dictatorship.
I would spread bitcoin in underdeveloped countries, influence peoples thought against corrupt world leaders
and put an end to pooverty. Being a banker or a media giant would be less cool than it is.

I would work on improving the quality of education in public schools, particularly at the lower levels.\
Education can be a great leveler.

I will buy a few thousand square kilometers of land from some Somali warlord, and then declare independence. Bitcoin will be the official currency, English will be the official language, and Atheism will be the official religion. People from all over the world will be able to migrate to this new country. And there will be no income / corporate / wealth taxes.

if i will be a billionaire, i will give some to charity.. because "billion" is already a lot of money.. and i dont want to be known as a billionaire coz ill be close to danger.. holduppers r going to be around me all the time.. ill still live a simple life.. just between poor class and rich class.. and for the people who needs my help, even if they treated me bad before, ill still help them.
