I may contact you in couple of days or three when I finish my blog , but isn't CloudFlare able to stop such things ? pretty sure it's the best anti-ddos out there  :-\

Cloudflare does not work, I can knock off cloudflare websites.

Well that's your service so of course  you will say number one DDOS Protection provider , all the companies says that but I don't think you can compet with the big companies such CloudFlare to be honest . Also it dosen't look so professional (your web) .

It doesn't matter if they have it or not, as long as they don't have NALSec they can be hit offline.

I mean I don't see why you wouldn't want to know if your site is not secured.

Worst case is that it is unprotected, and we can protect it for free...

And CloudFlare works only if you pay $200+/Month

The free plans don't have ddos protection.

Even some business CF users have problems because I can point a cname to your domain and it will bypass CF WAF

It's all about grabbing the attention in the name of a good cause :)

Layer 7 (application layer, HTTP in this case) Denial of Service is when the attacking computer pretends to be a human and does something on the website that overloads it enough to keep it form serving legitimate clients.  For example, if the search function is not optimized enough and has no rate limiting, a bot could rapidly search for a long string, overloading the database. An another example is the slowloris attack, where a program makes a lot of very slow requests at the same time to exhaust the limits of the webserver.

I can vouch for this... If you're on a free cloudflare plan, and you get DDOS'd, they'll just reroute the traffic directly to your ip, and bypass their network.

Even the free version of cloudflare is a REALLY good service, they don't offer DDOS protection for free tough  :D

If no one provides a site soon, I may build a web cluster just to see how quick you can take it down.  I am just curious, but if you do not knock it offline I will be disappointed.

EdenHazard.com is just a simple HTML Page, layer 7 won't do anything.

It doesn't run any processes.

Agree, OP should use more friendly title like "I can test your website DDoS protection by taking them down" or something like that  :P
Anyway, OP why are you doing this for free? a free test and a free protection sounds too good to be true  ;)

The protection is only going to be free to our first users.

What he means by that is his DDoS attacks are done on the Application Layer (layer 7) of the OSI model instead of a normal DDoS attack which is done over layer 3/4.

Though I am not too familiar with the measure R/s.

I never heared from this company and decided to give it a try... Looks nice, but it's not completely finished yet... Haven't tested attacking my own site (yet) tough....
