Post by: Atlas on September 15, 2012, 01:33:29 PM It seems the latter is mostly an American thing, usually in higher skilled jobs (not public sector). I could be wrong though. In menial jobs, you almost expect an authority-figure due to the structure most lower-skilled workers require.
So, in your workplace, is your employer your equal or your authority? Are you dependent on your employer's instructions or do you manage your own day? Entrepreneurs, high-level executives and independent contractors need not apply. |
