Title: Service for running your own casino
Post by: GambleBox on June 23, 2015, 09:53:19 PM
Hi,

We're working on platform where you can simply create your own casino. It's all automatic. You only choose which game you want and we'll take care of hosting, domain name, updates, installation and so on. You'll have access to administration. It'll cost you 30 USD per month.

I've also noticed trend here - casino scripts so I would like to ask you if you prefer to make it work for yourself with open code or you want seller to do everything for you but code is closed?

What do you think about it? Thanks for opinions. :)

Premade scripts haven't been very successful in the past, in fact that have been backdoors built in. In order for people to buy their casino off you the scripts would have to be very advanced and highly customizeable. Additionally you would need to be incredibly trusted. Overall I don't really believe that multiple providers who are all offering the exact same game with the same design same interface etc. can be successful in the long run. 30$ per month seems so ridicolously cheap that i don't think that you're very serious about this.

If I play on a site like Primedice, then visiting a clone with the same script and design just with a different domain name and owner isn't any fun. I would still stick to the original for playing. You might still be able to sell like people sell coindice clones but it wouldn't be popular for long.

Do you have an sample on the games your going to be offering to run, since there is a lot of different ones plus 3d and none 3d versions, will you have any multi player based casino games>?

Im a big fan of texas holdem i was wanted to use btc to play with a few friends around the world.

I think you should do both - closed code for those who are not coders, and open source for those who know and want to make some changes in the site.

If your website is interesting and have a good feature you can charge up to $300 per month(or more maybe).

If your code is clone, make an open source, but if you build itself make closed.

I seriously doubt that they would offer a Primedice clone script. It would look similar to the default faucet scripts out there.
I was also interested in a whitelabel copy of one of the more popular casino sites and they quoted me something like $50k for the bare bone structure without the extras.
If you are going to provide such a service, I would seriously go for a Open-source option, with complete transparency. Trust is going to be a mayor issue. Good luck with this. ^frown^

What casino 1 message guy? You don't even have a demo. And how are you going to run the casino with the money of others? The idea is simply stupid.

He hasn't posted again so either they are working on a demo an samples and he came here to see what inputs he will get some the community, we all know a demo and a game list is a most at least to view the quality on the finish.

There is so much drama in the gambling industry, and Bitcoin and Altcoins shouldn't empower a problem that 73% of american people have, and thats gambling. I say no to this....if its play money, than fair game, but gambling real money on games that have no chance of winning and more of a chance of losing is a bad idea!

What games will be built into your platform? What language are you developing with and will it be extensible?

Closed code is fair enough because there are thousands of people out there who are interested in casino website and yet can not write a single code. The only thing that I don't seems to agree with entirely is the cost of $30 per month which will be $360 per year stuff, the casino operator or owner might not have any profit left after paying that in the first year because the exposure will not be much in the first year. I will prefer a one time off sales and the buyer will get their domain and hosting, this I feel will be cost effective.
