My question is, how would I know how much I will get on litecoins? Is there a website that details out the specifications for hardware much like bitcoin mining hardware comparisons? Your 5850 will mine Litecoins like nobody's business, I'd say around 350-500kH/s depending on OC settings and cgminer/ configuration. With that in mind, you can enter your hash rate into http://litecoinpool.org/calc and find out how many Litecoins you could make a day mining with PPS pools. device 0 protocol litecoin worksize 256 vectors 1 aggression 12 threads_per_gpu 5 sharethreads 18 lookup_gap 2 gpu_thread_concurrency 8192 long_polling yes Edit: nvm, I just bumped my aggression from 12 to 13 and it just about doubled my hash rate.
