Title: Bitcoin Capital Tranche 2 - yea or nay for a newbie to invest ?
Post by: totalanarchy88 on June 25, 2015, 12:45:57 AM
Hi everyone,

For my first ever post the question is ofc a search for advice from experienced users around here.
I feel the need to invest and have the goods to take the next step, so...

with the minimum barrier on $1k, is it a good option to invest in Max Keiser & Simon Dixon ?

Invest in BTC - Yes...
Invest in anything else - Currently no...

I would rather suggest to have your own BTC and have them put somewhere in a cold wallet safe and sound instead of taking a chance on something we know might sink...

I never heard of this before now, but after looking at it, I would say only invest what you are willing to lose.  Any investment is dangerous, and this one looks extra dangerous.  I am not saying don't do it, but be careful.

I don't trust Max Keiser. He has made a bundle off of two schemes that could be considered pump and dumps: MaxCoin and Quark. I don't know that he intentionally defrauded people, but his track record speaks for itself.

one ca not forget about maxcoin, when it was launched, a total mess there was bad copy of it all over the place, with some of them containing virus, i  remember that i was infected(prompt popping like no tomorrow) to, lucky i disabled the connection fast enough..

so it is better to invest your money in something else, like in btc for example, if you don't like btc because of the recent drama about the tx, you can choose between dash monero or litecoin, and maybe doge.

i only suggest investing in bitcion for long term, or even day-trading bitcoin but never invest in anything shady that is going to lose all your money in.
especially when there is a bad history associated with it called maxcoin.

Thank you all for your insights, I must admit I didn't know about those shady coins of his and the amount of info and history I have still to search about these guys.
My portfolio only consists of Bitcoin and Litecoin (equally) and some doge, all to hold on the long run.
Honestly I don't thing I am cut out for daily trading, sht loads of time needed to decrease risk. Still, do you know any mandatory literature on the subject you would recommend ?

Only invest what you can afford to lose. Do not invest your life savings.
