I afraid this is a duplicate post of: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1096719.0.
They have exactly the same content, with it outdated '10,000 captchas = 5.5$' (should be 8$ as of the current rate).

Is this really worth it to spend my whole day solving captchas for $0.0008 per solved captcha? ???

In future, if someone will ask you: "What job you do?"

PS: 0.04 BTC (10,000 captchas) equals to $9.7 not $5.5 ;)

Of course not - and you're lucky if you do get the $0.0008, and not a lower rate, as the rate apparently varies with the time of day.

As others have pointed out in the other thread, signature campaigns are far more profitable, for far less work. I mean, even a Junior Member account can enter into campaigns that pay about $0.05 per post, up to 100 posts a week. Other than that, sites like Freelancer and Odesk, as bad as they are, still pay better, and offer more interesting tasks.

The rate is fine for some people, not for me.
I can earn way more than that by joining signature campaign and get online and offline job.
