Idk if this is normal as I just started playing but yesterday and today I have a bunch of transaction that seem not to process. Ill make a new bet afterwards to see if my client froze or something but thats not the case. The new bets go through and the "frozen" ones stays the same. (no confirmation, no return amount)

I started playing this game for the low fees and the instant returns.... Is that no longer what SD is about?  ???

This problem is probably because you have sent lots of bets in succession without any of them having confirmations... so it is possible you have double spent some coins.

It is probably best to leave it for an hour or so and wait for all your transactions to confirm before doing any more bets.

So what does this mean? Will some the transactions reverse if i did double spend?

The Bitcoin.org client will show you the transaction number for each transaction.  You can then check SatoshiDICE.com and see the status.

I've also waited several hours (5) with no payment on a win today, even though the deposit has been confirmed many times over.

now im getting "unknown" pay status. Please tell me this site hasnt gone off the deep end. I will be very disappointed  :'(

The site is fine. All transactions clear eventually, but some get stuck in the nethervoid. There are a number of bitcoin-based bugs which cause this to happen, and over time we've found some of them and fixed, but we haven't fixed them all.

So, if a transaction ever get stuck, just please be patient and PM me if you feel something is really wrong. Bets always come through, but I apologize for any delays.

I made a few SD bets about 12 hours ago.  All of them were returned (win or lose) within a minute.

The site regularly has problems with bets "freezing" and it often takes several days until they get fixed, but they always seem to get fixed eventually.  Here's an example from the last time it happened, a week or so ago:

I'm having a little delay on a small win with the unknown status also. So just to ease your mind it's not just you or your client.

Status still unknown... It's not a huge win so I'm not too concerned....but what's the deal?

It looks like the usual SD bug.  They think they've paid you out, but the transaction they used to pay you out was invalid, since it depended on an input that never confirmed.

It'll get fixed when they get around to it.  I guess fireduck's recent fix wasn't sufficient to nail this bug completely.
