Something more like a Bitcoin-oriented tournament with teams from different communities.

Yes, correct. A whole new Bitcoin League (name work in progress)
We're planning on using either counterparty or colored coins to create a token
which will allow people to sign up for tournaments and cashout with, or buy prizes with

WHICH they can also exchange to BTC.

But maybe for the first season after launch I'd like to keep into CS:GO for now.

I don't really have any intressting skills , I do know some ASP.NET & C# however I don't think you will build the website with ASP.NET , most of people now just go with PHP since it's the oldest and not because it's the better or they use NodeJS .

I find this interesting.

Couple of questions playing devils advocate here:
1. How is this better than current gaming tournaments with FIAT?
2. How will the prize pool be created - a % of the team fee?
3. The key is to gain a lot of viewers, or else you are losing a lot of revenue from sponsors and advertisement revenue. Also, a legitimate team willing to pay money will not want to join this because of the low exposure value.

Just some things to think about.

1. Bitcoin is a great alternative to fiat because you can instantly send it internationally. And the fact that it IS made to use Bitcoin is also a marketting strategy.

2. Yes.

3.We won't lose money if we don't use the money from our pockets to fund the prize pool, which is why we're using % of tournament registration fees.

4. This is where investors come in

and we now have Kevin Abiera (lightning18) as our back-end developer.
