Tell us more, where you're from, what is your preferred payment method, than we'll be able to provide you better options on how to go about buying bitcoins and although a little off-topic but I wouldn't suggest you to use blockchain info with big amount of bitcoins, it is not considered safe to use a web wallet for your funds. Try Electrum or another desktop wallet for security of your funds.

what you mean? blockchain is one of the online wallet that can be trusted. ( my opinion )

you can try to buy bitcoins there AFAIK so you can buy and deposit thru bank if you use local exchange site

as for paypal you can try virwox.com but it will take you 48hours to withdraw your bitcoins in your first time

Or you can do a trade here (at 'Currency Exchange' board) using PayPal or other online wallet (however you must use a escrow as no one will trust a newbie due to previous scamd). Also, you may make a meetup at 'Meetups' board, and you'll probably find some bitcoiner from Pakistan. They have bitcoin and they may sell them to you.

www.virwox.com is trusted site for buy bitcoin via paypal, although the fees is too high.


Recently blockchain.info wallet have a trouble and i think it's not safe for store your bitcoin, especially with big amount. Better to use desktop wallet, hardware wallet(more secure) or paper wallet(secure, cheap, for long term).

it is a good online wallet but not good enough to keep your coins there.
if you have a good internet connection and downloading 40 GB is not an issue, use bitcoin-core or Armory.

else use Electrum for storing your bitcoins. it is lightweight and you need to download <40 MB one time and small size receiving afterwards.

I think the best place to buy bitcoins for you would be localbitcoins.com.   I am pretty sure most of the bitcoin companies are not available in your location.   Almost no one will allow you to use paypal though, because the risk for chargebacks is far too high.

I think using localbitcoins and finding a local dealer who would accepts bank wire would be the best option for you because not a lot of traders accept Paypal due to it's chargeback issue so try searching there.

Also check in marketplace section if someone from your country sell BTC and buy from him. Remember to use an escrow and pay with Bank Account. Instead, if you want to pay with PayPal just go on virwox as said above.

I wouldn't recommend him to trade in the currency exchange section since he is using paypal, as we know paypal is a reversible payment method and escrow cant do anything if he charge back

virwox is only good if you want to buy bitcoins using paypal, but if not, you better stay away from it or you will suffer days of waiting for your coins before you can withdraw

I would highly suggest coinbase over localbitcoins.   It all depends on your country.

But overtime a site like coinbase is much better on price per BTC then one such as localbitcoins.  But skipping all the paperwork and people wanting to be anomalous is a lot of the reason of higher price.

at the same time, id recommend circle over coinbase; coinbase is limited to the USA and ive heard a lot of bad things about coinbase tracking users' spending. also, circle is international.
