This user is brand new, please deal with caution.

He can easily chargeback, and has nothing to lose (read https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=14632 for more info on that).

It's funny to see the same old thread several times a week...

It's been said before: paypal has a nasty feature, allowing you to chargeback any payment for over 180 days.

This is why it'll be nearly impossible for you to find anybody willing to trade PP to BTC, as long as you don't have enough trust...

You can always use virwox to exchange PP to BTC. They charge a very big fee, and it can take up to 2 days to withdraw the money, but it's basically our only alternative.

You said all correct, even if not every user is a scammer but you can not trust anymore.

Use virwox and you are safe for 100$ you pay around 10$ fees

Both kralle and myself have just recommanded virwox  ;D. You need a verified paypal account, 2 days, and you'll probably pay around 10% fees.

No problem... The main problem is that there are so many scammers trying to sell PP for BTC, so even if you're legit, nobody wants to trade with somebody new (untrusted)...

A shame, because virwox has really high fees, and takes up to 2 days for your first withdrawal. Search google for a quick tutorial, because you need to open an account, deposit PP, exchange them to LLD's, exchange your LLD's to BTC, withdraw your BTC

Perhaps you could try using another payment method, like cash deposit or cash in mail?
Also, check out localbitcoins.

IMO you dont need to know how it is done mate, if you really want to know you can try exploring in your paypal account

first, it was a kind of sarcasm, second:I had an affair with PP in real situation after I sent money(as for friend) , but seller scamming me, PP support say that is my problem.
moreover it is a long process, each side have time to answer up 2 week,  means of proof required....
but here everyone is talking as if it were magic button- push and money come back ;D
But perhaps as I have too little knowledge on the issue...

I use to be very careful and have a "special verification procedure".
So any scammer, dont even think about trying to scam me with paypal. No chance.
Actually I know now how to
win disputes at paypal ;-)

Actually at paypal also digital goods are ok. So you need a proper receipt and the funds must never be from a creditcard because in that case even obvious chargebackscammers will win.
Once a scammer tried to chargeback and PP let me win and closed his account forever.... I was very astonished...
Sure you need a proof of identity and so on...
Sorry but dont want to tell all secrets. Lost already tons of pp funds, but now I hope to know how it works...
