Title: Upgrading to Version 7 - Guide Needed Post by: Maniac479 on September 19, 2012, 01:26:18 AM When upgrading to the new version of Bitcoin 0.7.0 from 0.6.3, do we have to uninstall the old version before running the install?
Or can we just install over the old version without deleting it? If we uninstall the old version, do we have to worry about it deleting our wallet and/or other valuable data? A guide to upgrading is needed IMO. Oh Ok just found the Readme! Sorry! :-[ Maybe this should be bundled with the installer somehow?
