Even if new coins get added to 0 volume exchanges like yobit or c-cex they will not produce profit. If you invest 2 much money into rig renting you can not jump out since markets have no volume or buy walls, there is literally no point anymore with new coins.

This is quite true, I no longer mine coins as I have to rent a rig and the last time I made anything decent from it was with Litedoge and that was just good timing.

You are much better to pick up the coins from an exchange when they come out or mine a coin that feels good and real, not like this as an example, zilch new and you can tell also by the comments how much weight the user carries in the community and the validity of this coin.  It's just a cheap attempt at taking advantage of the current crisis in Greece and impending EU doom.

Make sure that eurocoind and eurocoin-cli are locate in /usr/bin not in root

Then just type eurocoind or eurocoind -daemon to start

If this is a new wallet with 0 coin , just Delete all files and folders in your Eurocoin data-folder, which is most likely: %AppData%\Roaming\Eurocoin and restart wallet

If you have coins in there make a backup wallet.dat file before doing so.

But not much activity here :(

So you probably also can't run the Bitcoin core because this is an exact clone with different setting.

Never got that error message in the last 2.5 years of the Eurocoin.

I got 5 other QT wallets on my PC and Bitcoin is one of them.
Everything is working fine for that one.

I guess I'll use an online wallet instead.
My miner should be at my place Tuesday, and then ill set it up for Eurocoin :)

It's been afew days for yobit as confirmed 2/2 and showing, it as sent but recieving wallet address is still keeping my transactions waiting in blockchainto be transfered. I can't find and check the explorer about the transfers. I am getting really disapointed about the EUC. I might not use again.

What I think about keeping the Eurocoin portfolio in constant maintenance (out of the air) ... because at Yobit.net the price is lower than in other Exchanges, this will cause the price of the currency to reduce and that is Too bad for every dumb one. if they left the market free in the short time the currency would reduce its value. but at the same time would have large sums of purchases and sales of currency and leverage their market value and so the price of the currency would rise significantly in the near future ... what they are doing is a shot in the foot itself ....
the market has to self-regulate and not the other way around ...
an example of what I say ... is that when they drop a dot the Eurocoin Wallet increases purchases and sales and not low price instead rises ... to 30% ...

Hi, is Eurocoin (EUC), SHA-256 pool on https://yiimp.infernopool.com/ abandoned? I connected succesfully to the sha2562 pool (that only has 2 mineable coins), but i cannot mine on the sha256 pool with 12 coins, that also has Eurocoin.

I tried mining with an Antminer S4 and MultiMiner (using cgminer, bfgminer and cpuminer) but I cannot connect to the pool!

I searched online and there is no other Eurocoin SHA-256 pool except infernopool. I also tried mining the Scrypt version of the coin ( https://p2pool.neocities.org/coin_euc.html ) and that pool ( http://67.233.200.130:29420 ) also appears to be offline as well :(

I tried mining with MultiMiner, EasyMiner and Cgminer, and no success, i get an error that the pool is offline or the pool data is incorrect.
