omg... i just went sleep... i awake up and millions of msg saying i'm scam... great...
my website was online and working... when i was up, don't know why some functions stopped working.

it is a pity... well, i was really doing this giveaway, but now i'll cancel it because you guys don't deserve it.

This sounds very sketchy indeed.  Also, if I am not mistaken, MoneyPot doesn't allow players from the US.  :(  It is a shame because it is a unquie gambling game I have always been interested in trying.  :-\

Please sign a message with your private key to prove that you actually own that address.

Sure, why not. This giveaway is pretty much shady with a new owner claming that he will give x5 of the deposit amount . Whats more shady is that you need to deposit it to an unknown adress and not your own deposit addres

Some shady things that I found as well :

#1 This site was created 2 hours ago ( by the time I posted this ) and shows that there are only 10 bets there https://www.moneypot.com/apps/95-onlydice . It is seems that the site is launched hurriedly without any proper testing and resulting the faucet is broken currently


#2 The coins has just moved to a multisig address which contains 900~ BTC and high chance that the address is from an exchanger

#3 Owner gone offline just 15 minutes after he launched this promotions. Normally a site owner will stand by at the site waiting for players to come after they announced a giveaway but the owner of this site is nowhere to be found

Although with all those shady activites this site is provably fair because it is using Moneypot's API however I encourage no one to send BTC to the address listed on the OP since there is a high chance that this is "shady" giveaway

I wouldn't trust this "giveaway" unless you provide some kind of proof (like a signed message from the address that hold the balance) verifying that you indeed are the owner.
Otherwise i'd advice anyone that is thinking about it to not proceed.

I see this giveaway as a bait to capture your victims because there is no definite proof that the fund actually exist.

I wonder why moneypot let this kind of people use their name in such cases like this. This will only bring damage to moneypot's name

This has been a stance that I've done a bad job at communicating, but the fact that the app uses MoneyPot shouldn't be taken as an endorsement of the app of any kind. Anyone is able to create a moneypot app, and go live without any sort of review at all (and this is by design). In fact, the poster of this app hasn't yet even contacted me so as much to verify he controls the domain yet

The goal of MoneyPot is to make it as easy as possible for someone to create their own legitimate bitcoin casino, and as easy as possible for players to safely try it out. The app only ever has access to the amount of money you explicitly authorize it with, so it's pretty safe to transfer a few pennies to try the site out (knowing the worst is the site takes those pennies).

If the app was a scam, it could very easily just tip the owner the entire amount you authorized it with, and it's pretty much irreversible on my part. In many ways, MoneyPot tries to just be like bitcoin itself: it lowering the barriers to entry, and makes it possible to run a legitimately. But it doesn't mean satoshi has been personally satisfied that you're up to good =)

Well this is fairly a terrible launch for any dice site  ;D better steer clear of this one

I am not going to deposit at the moment.I will test this site just if OP will give some no deposit bonus at the start.Moneypot's reputation really will be at stake by allowing every site to use their name.There are lot serious questions about this site some of them already have been arisen by some respected community members.

Just to be clear with this thing, Any site that use Moneypot's API isnt associated with Ryan nor with Moneypot and he had taken no part in this . The same thing that BTC isnt losing its credibility after people use it for criminal act and nor is Satoshi is associated with all of that. This is complete delusion to say that moneypot will lose credibility for such small niche dice site which makes you completely forgotten that there are several great sites to prove what moneypot's worth as well

Simply because Moneypot is a platform that enable everyone to be able to start their own gambling site and that means he cant prevent such malicious intention and anyone could do their own dilligence for such thing.


Moneypot's does prevent a site to cheat its player but it cant stop a stupid people from falling into such shady giveaway and NO, the site is not using its "name" or such but it is using its API which is available to everyone

And it looks like a ponzi, why moneypot official account didn't announce it? Just use a new account? It is fishy too.
