That not going to last long. They are desperately trying to save or mobilize their euros and then put it into an other fiat (USD or drachma if they quit from euro). So enjoy the upsurge but keep in mind as soon as the situation getting better most greeks will dump their BTCs.

yeah it was the biggest news after a long time which caused a nice price rise to ~ $260 but the upward movement is slowed drastically after the initial movement.
the $5000 is such an unreal price to get to at this point. besides Greeks don't have access to their money to have that big of an impact yet.

Animates the Bitcoin purchases of sites like localbitcoins on a map. if you follow the animation for some time you can also follow purchases from Greece.
