If anyone in the EU wants to sell me one of their coins, for a good price (doesn't matter which color), I'll gladly take it. I really need one for my collection.

My colors available for trade/sale as of now:

2 - Green
2 - Yellow (eh, colored font was hard to read)
30+ - Grey

I'm in absolute need of:

1 - Violet

I'd love to acquire:

2 - Violet (total, including above)
1 - Blue
1 - Red

I'm will to pay flat-out BTC for any of the above as well, make me an offer.

I'm planning on sending some out for grading at some point in the near-ish future.  If anyone wants their coins graded I'd be happy to include them, PM me for details.  Oh, and it's easy to make sure you get the right coin back, identifiable by the firstbits on the holo, so there's no possibility of a switcheroo.

Do we/Can we get a pricing structure for sales/trades based on the color distribution/percentage of the coins??
We could use retail, direct, wholesale, and trade pricing.

Thanks :)

I've edited the OP with more valuation data and links to ongoing sales.

Looks like there were 428 gray as well.

Gray   428
Green (*)   27
Yellow (**)   18
Violet (***)   15
Blue(****)   12
Red (*****)   9
Orange (******)   6

I'd be interested in adding 1 of any color (even they gray) to my collection if anyone's selling in the UK or EU ideally.

To anybody in the EU/worldwide looking to add one to their collection, there are a few people on here selling singles already, so try them first. But if you don't have any luck with that I would have no problem selling a couple singles at basically cost price, and I can get 'em sent out with basic tracked shipping for pretty cheap.

These would probably just be some nice examples of RavenBit's latest coin with gray address type; I don't really have any of the more rare colors to part with at this time. I was a bit sad for you guys to see the EU Group Buy not get filled in time (but still I was happy to see mrbrt have great success with his latest Series).

Thanks snarlpill that's very good of you. I'll give it a couple of days to see if anyone's selling from UK or EU first to save on postage if not I'll hit you up for one.

Since we've got that other trade going I can toss a grey or two in the package, since I'll already be sending you something anyways.  We can pm about it later.

Very nice idea again, Ravenbit and the Genesis coins.   :)

Reserving my spot on the first page as this thread filled up quick.

My thread with individual grey coins for sale can be found here - Individual Ravenbit NODE Bronze Physical Bitcoins (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1091843.msg11638121#msg11638121)

That's good point, I didn't list any of the grey as being available for sale.  Just fixed that... :)

Mitchell, if you can work out a shipping deal with anyone who is near you and willing to ship with you that I am trading with, I'll happily sell a grey.  For right now I am waiting on selling the colors until I can see what others have.

I would do the same, I will offer 15 grays for a blue + violet combined.   ;)

20 grays for a red coin.

40 grays for an orange coin.

If my math is right, and assuming the group buy per coin cost of $7.63, this would value a red coin at $152.60 and orange coin at $305.20.  :o

Not anymore... ;D

You might be the lucky one... I can confirm there's two more rolls down that did NOT contain a full color set.  Not sure how many more are floating around in the mail still, but I don't think there's many.

I'm still in need of a violet.  PM me if you have one for sale or trade.  I will reward handsomely.

I'm not really too interested in selling them.  I'd rather make some type of trades for other coins.

Casascius or rare coins are always my favourites.

I'm always willing to do 'sign and trades' where added bitcoin can be included on either my part or another party's, but I don't wish to straight up sell them (at least just yet).

Thats fair enough :). I suppose it depends on what you value them at and what others are prepared to pay. And seeings as there doesn't appear to be any previous sales in the rarer coins as far as I know its pretty hard to value them right now. I know there's a bit of a buzz with these at the moment though everyone wants the coloured coins :P.

Along with other things (wink, wink) I'm going to try to update my OP with a basic pricing guide.  I've made some trades/purchases and can start to put together a better idea of current market price for what I know from personal experience.

If anyone else has sold or traded any of these, please let me know either here or via PM, and I'll find a way to properly represent how things are trending.

I think most people me included are wondering about values to put on them.

Hmmmm I have a 2013 MS-67 Casascius Brass .5

Im also in the same mind frame you are considering trading up for casascius coins BUT on the other hand these coins are really nice and the prices they're *rightfully* pulling right now do make me consider stock pilling up rather than selling at all.

HODL your coins!!!! :D

But will they be worth as much in 1, 3, 6 or 12+ months as now?

They are in demand right now but as for the future I'm not so sure?

I'm not trying to be awkward but think some people are going a bit mad with their valuations on these coins.

idk...The way I see it with the quality, rares, and distribution these coins should only raise in value. The question really is, if bitcoin blows up again, how will they compare in value vs coins with loaded btc in value.  for example, digi selling grays for .08xxx is, in my opinion, a fair price. But if bitcoin rises 2x in value will the RAVENBIT still be worth .08xxxx or will it retain its fiat value?

The more I think about I plan to hold. In my eyes anything with the word bitcoin and the date 2014 stamped into will be valuable in the future, undeniably.

Thanks for the kind words, if Bitcoin rose in price 2x I would sell my Ravenbit grey label coins for 0.04xxxxBTC.   :)

I believe they have value due to being the first Ravenbit in-house assembled coins (besides the label colors) and I'd say that Ravenbit produces some solid designs in well distributed intervals.

This thread needs a little more love!

I've updated my OP with some links to ongoing coin sales, as well as including some speculative valuations of the coins as they stand today.

It should be noted that today marks the sale of the first completed colors set!  The honors go to DogeDigital, with a sales price of 2.75BTC for the complete set in ungraded condition.

The market appears to be setting itself folks!  Good luck and let's get some coins moving!  :)

Very nice, only 6 complete sets will exist total assuming all Orange label coins have been paired with the rest of the colors.

I'd be quite surprised if he was able to get them graded and returned to him that quickly.   :D

I know of 4 actual, completed sets (this sold one included), and one lone orange out there I assume trying to find the rest of his brethren.  Where that 6th orange went is the main question.

On the grading front, I'm sending a batch out to be graded probably within the next 2-3 weeks.  If anyone wants to piggyback on the order let me know and I'll toss them in with mine.

We definitely have a rogue Orange out there.   ;D

I'd be looking to do the same, since the firstbits show it should be easy to keep them all together for the sets.  Let me know when you're thinking about doing this and get in touch.

Throw an offer out with that statement so users can see what you are offering for one or link to your previous valuation.   ;)

Was the color random distributed, or did each roll guarantee a specific amount of orange, red, purple ect.
Could you risk getting a roll only with gray?

2-RED
5-BLUE
7-VIOLET
5-YELLOW
6-GREEN

We are still looking for the last Orange one.
And here's some eye candy for you:
:o :o :o :o :o

7 voilet???!?!?!?!!!
5 blue?!?!?!!!?!

Holy !!!

I think you are the last Orange.

Me - 2
Digi - 1
Doge - 1 (well, 0 now)
IBGigglin - 1  (I think he has a Red and an Orange, I could be mistaken)
you - 1

Each roll contained either 1 or 2 colors.
3 rolls contained all 6.

So, you were guaranteed at least one special color in each roll.

Was the color random distributed, or did each roll guarantee a specific amount of orange, red, purple ect.
Could you risk getting a roll only with gray?
Each roll contained either 1 or 2 colors.
3 rolls contained all 6.

So, you were guaranteed at least one special color in each roll.

Hehe. Yeah I had two 2 colour rolls.  On one, I started from the bottom, so I thought I had hit a 6 colour one and got faked out hard.  And then when I did the next one the same thing happened except this time I ended up hitting a third, then a fourth, and so on. :)

I did the same thing and was pissed when it was a green coin first then a bunch of grays until on coin 7 or 8 the I picked the orange out and I did my 'BOOO YEAH' dance around the house.

Are the Brass LE or regular??
and what are the grades??  :)

The Node Brass are the "regular".

I don't have them in my possession and won't until this weekend, so I can only tell you the range of grades based on the email from ANACS:

(5) MS-65
(7) MS-67
(3) MS-68

Some of the Satoshi I submitted were used in testing, but they still received a MS according to the email.

This should serve as a nice benchmark for the Ravenbit series of coins.
I have not seen any yet and only know of 1 other graded one out there now.
Keep us posted. :)

Thanks

This MS-67 Satoshi (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=382915.msg6168201#msg6168201) is the only one I have seen.

Any rough idea of what you would want for at least the orange one?  I would offer .25 btc plus shipping right now for it?

Interesting ~2 year bump, I was wondering what a full set is worth for the Brass & Bronze?

I can't recall the last time one was up for sale besides what's listed in the OP.
