Title: Re: which antminer is cheapest Post by: philipma1957 on July 03, 2015, 07:42:59 PM Not to run, but as an initial purchase. power is not an issue although i cant run more than 1000watts. okay sounds like you have very cheap power up to 1kwatt. if that is the case get a pair of s-3+ miners and a decent psu down clock them a tiny bit to freq 206. they will pull 660 watts and hash at 850gh for the pair. sidehack has a decent psu and pete from gigaamz has a good psu http://www.gigampz.com/store/p21/Gigampz_80Plus_Platinum_Efficiency%2C_1200_Watt_Kit.html this psu will run 2 s-3's and use around 640 watts if you underclock http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_sop=15&LH_BIN=1&_from=R40&_sacat=0&_nkw=antminer%20s3&_dcat=179171&rt=nc&_mPrRngCbx=1&_udlo=70&_udhi=100 sometimes antminers s-3's are as low as 90 bucks even 80 you should be able to get a psu and 2 for 300 or so. if your power is 3 cents a kwatt you should make a profit. |
