i am looking to put bitcoin payment gateway
what kind of idea is this any comments please?

So you can play chess against eachother and make a bet?

Not sure what do you mean by bitcoin payment gateway ? Do you plan to accept bitcoin directly or want to convert it to fiat ?

I have often seen in the gambling forum requests for pvp chess games where people can bet bitcoin. So if that's the idea there is some interest in the community for that. But what are you going to do about bots? It's easy to cheat at chess as you can't ensure a player isn't using a chess program.

Would be interest in this rather than your other project  :-\

players can play with each other, like many members join and u can challenge else one,
player vs player for bitcoins,
as far as bots i will put some verification system, but there is no other restractions any one can use any methods to play but not manipulatiing site api etc, ...

Then this will turn into a competition to see who has access to the best chess engine. Or more likely no one will play or bet any money in the site because it's impossible to win at chess against players using bots.

i never mean that bots will be allow,
i wld surely tracks and keep verify if any one is using any bots, and i have planed to freeze screen when match starts

Chess would be a great as long as it can prevent bots from playing otherwise all the fun is lost and it will just flop

Don't think that will work. Players can just play the game copying the moves of a chess program running in another computer for example. How can you stop that? I should probably not have said bots in this case. I meant, using a chess engine to choose the moves for them.

cheat is not open for 1 player other can do.. this is also a skill more skillfull any will be more they will win

Great watching on this ;D i also wanted a chess game which integrate with bitcoin.
Held some tournament every week it will attract more people to use, especially if you put the big prize.

Certainly we shall be playing against each other and winner takes all. I am interested in chess game and I am ready to take on anybody.

I have posted this idea on this forum before and it was repeatedly shot down, because it was open to cheating. {Bots etc.}

I then suggested integration with some sort of webcam interface, to verify that both persons playing was honest, but that was shot down too. {Anonimity & Privacy}

but i think i have to keep taking screen shot of every match if i see some same squence i will kick out those , and i have plan to freeze web broweser once game starts

say what? What are you talking about? How would this prevent cheats in any case, even if you could do it?

i will still try to keep records of each player and track them if i find any sucpious act i will ban his/account,

This is a welcoming idea because I have not heard of people getting paid to play chess apart from casparot but that happens only in real like and not virtual or online.

Think he meant that as a compliment. Like, go through with what you want to do or something. But I still don't see how you're going to prevent cheating. A webcam won't be seeing everything a person is doing. And many people won't like it because of privacy concerns as others said. And I don't know how you plan to freeze the screen. Or if people will want that for a game that can last a long time. But remember that keeping screenshots is not enough. You have to automate the process somehow. Otherwise you won't be seeing those screenshots for everyone playing in the site as it could be overwhelming for many players.

maybe you could begin promotion a chess tournament and try and get a few sponsors to give out some prices so more people sign up, most likely advertisement should pay for the prices if you dont find an sponsor for the tournament it self, but im sure you could get something together with a few forum members that likes chess.

Look into transifex, you can upload the project there and then we translate it per language after you accept us on the translating team.

i am now working to ad bitcoin payment method so people can play or add bitcoins once done then we can work on language translations

Chess .com the biggest chess site can't even detect engine users and a lot of people use bots their even though it doesn't involves any cash, think about what happens when they know they can use their softwares to beat people and make easy money?

Tried it, signed up. :) This really need more players, and preferably an AI or 'play against computer' function stated clearer as a tab/page instead since there are really very little players. Also, not many people might know how to play chess too, so many set up a guide there as well. :)

Actually, I like chess, so I might be interested in this! Add a favicon, make everything nicer and smoother and it'll be professional! Make the player chat pop in as well.

Also one last question, do you use our emails for some third parties? The email verification seems to take some time too, hope to see it improve. Good Luck for this! :D

How do chess sites know you are human ? Can't somebody plug in a bot and profit ?

well i just had this plan ,
if you some want to manipulate games, then nothing is safe,
i will still try my best bots will not live long, bots have sequence like theere moves are fixed suppose suppose some one taking every move in exact 60seconds it is sure he is using bot, and each move time will be 5mnts, so they cannot copy paste each move over internet, we will see what happens, as i am developing script

Hope you can make it. But it isn't hard to make a bot act at a random time interval. So that's not going to help. And I didn't understand what you meant with 5 minutes being the move limit and that making it impossible to copy a move from elsewhere. Guess you mean from a chess engine or program. Seems like more than enough time to me. But good luck with it.

I've already played it. Still play with AI, but the problem is when the game with AI end, and i want to create new game, the AI not move :-\
And looks like i still can't create my own game.

This.  The only solution I can think of his for it to have a large, involved community that can moderate itself.
