Title: Coinbase - charge? Post by: ransomer on July 03, 2015, 11:42:44 PM A guy said that he buy Bitcoin every monday for his cigarette money ;)
That made me wonder what coinbase charges for selling for $5? Is buying in so small lots really feasible? Title: Re: Coinbase - charge? Is buying in so small lots really feasible? It's a flat fee + variable fee. The flat fee alone is $0.30. IMO, it's best to buy in increments of at least $20 (that puts the fee at like 5% of the total), with more being better. Title: Re: Coinbase - charge? Post by: Possum577 on July 04, 2015, 07:15:12 AM The charge is minimal but i'd suggest buying more than $5 increments if you can. The more transactions you have the more fees you'll have, and the fees don't increase 1:1 with size of transaction.

Looks like they still charge flat-fee on small transactions, though, but aren't adding on the variable fee anymore so it's good: "** For US Customers, orders less than $15 are charged a flat fee of $0.15" Thanks for the heads-up! |
