I got an idea of a project: Click4Bit
In this users will bet with other users and the one who clicks the most in 60 seconds win the bet.

This can easily by boted /endofidea

I can make an autoit script that clicks 102310239103 times in a minute.

Yea with bots now in days doing clic based ideas are either not good or just to vulnerable against the botter community, how about a ranking system based on a comment or a picture.

This might work if the process is transparent and provably fair.

Yes, if it is just a dead button there, people can just use a bot or an auto clicker, what you can do is make the button spawn randomly instead, and if you want you can make ads spawn randomly around the page too, so if a user tries to bot it he might accidentally click on the ad and loses the game.

If you really want to make this, you really have to go through lots of beta and to make sure it cannot be 'bot - ted' . I would say not many would deposit to play this game, because there is really not much point in this. Perhaps you can make it free for all instead, like a faucet, profit driven by ads. :D

Further more on this, I still believe that if the OP should add some captcha that displays picture and ask you to identify. this at times check bots.

First, the player can use bots. Second, i think this is not really fun just click click click... Then it's possible to you, put a lot ads on your site.
I think play a flash game and held tournament with btc prize is awesome idea.

I think the idea is have a lot of lack. Just bet for a click faster is not good idea, besides bot can be avoid, users still can use an equipment which can click more faster, for example use a gaming mouse, AFAIK gaming mouse usually have a double click button.

In my own opinion I think that is the exact thing that the OP thought of before leaving this project for now, I can not say precisely that he have abandon it while thinking of better ways to achieve the same dream.
