Because throwing in a few $100 doesn't move the market...
Because bitcoin is not in the news at the moment...

Once the big guns (like chinese kamikaze traders) come in to play then we will see a frenzy.

because the hype for greece ended there

because we are finally going to perform a steady grow, with numerous small increases and not huge pump that end in a huge crash and discourage new adopters

because big traders are playing with litecoin

ecc...

A lot of people are waiting for the next big media article to begin spark up some news, or some are waiting for a small dump to actually get in of get a stronger position, then there is always the litecoin pump who knows how long is that going to last.

Because litecoin is all the rage now. But seriously just wait. I am told bitcoin is lagging.

Litecoin trade volume is higher than Bitcoin nowadays..

Anyway, there's a lot of accumulation going on.. Let's see if we will break up or down. If we go up it will be very interesting ;)

Yep.  I'm watching BTC very closely for when people start trading out of LTC when it starts to come down.

Honestly I'm very happy with the last 30 days of BTC going $230 -> $270 in regular intervals of movement with retrace after... it seems more sustainable and something to build on to finally move towards a bullish market.

All many traders care about is gathering USD or CNY via volatility. If you can smash LTC into the ground and then into the stratosphere with smaller amounts of money, why would you bother fucking around with BTC any more?

Litecoin's on plenty of exchanges now and has leverage available. The Chinese dig it. Its brakes are off.

The whole crypto market is still built on speculation. If 'vested interests' are holding BTC at certain levels then maybe it'll fall away if there are juicier markets for the less vested to play with. Today's LTC volume is higher than Bitcoin's. Perhaps that'll continue.

Bitcoin is still best placed to win the long game. At the same time there might be plenty more gains to be had with Litecoin. It was a better return in 2013 too.

Someone is clearly preventing price to rise.
But hey, buy one more bitcoin! Price is clearly set for another rise question is just when... so fill up your bags  ;)

i believe it's the opposite, who is raising the price, stopped for now, basically none is stopping bitcoin right now minus the miners with their limited dump, instead i think that they are not buying more for the time being

Altcoins are going crazy. Litecoin, Peercoin and Namecoin all UP >20%. Bitcoin 0.25%

the price will rise if people keep buying, but most of them need to switch their mindset and forget $225 price level, and start focus on $300.
