Bitcoin has just stumbled onto the mainstream Tipping Point

The mistakes of the old guard usually pave the way for the new guard. If the new guard is willing and prepared to take full advantage of their mistake then real change is only a spark away. The bitcoin community is ready!

this isn't really news so much as it is just a business website, advertizing.

I have to vet them out a little more before I can speak to their reliability and trust levels yet.

posing as a news release is basically a (smallish) red flag. Lets hope its just poor marketing decision and not indicative of yet another scammy exchange.

to Paxful; good luck and I hope you're legit.

to everyone else... do due diligence and proceed with caution.

Bitcoin is far from being mainstream or becoming mainstream. It needs a lot of implementations and adoption before seeing wide or global mainstream adoption of Bitcoin. More places accepting it is good as it gains more interest and people asking the question? What is bitcoin. If all shops accept it and see an easy way to buy sell exchange buy goods then this will be the tipping point of it being mainstream and global adoption of it like Paypal. Once it gets as big and a lot of security and network problems are resolved with Bitcoin then it will change and things going a lot better than it currently is.

Well they have seen a opportunity and they have grabbed it with both hands. There are a lot of desperate people, who has had a stable income from advertisement been done on Backpage and now VISA and MasterCard has killed off their income. If this company can only convert 10% of the people advertizing on Backpage, we will see a significant change in the price.

Backpage in terms of traffic, gets about 3 million users a day versus craigslist’s 64 million users per day. So I would rather say we are mainstream, when craigslist users all use Bitcoin.
