Auction ends July 20th, 2015 at 3:00 PM Hawaiian Standard Time

Minimum bid will start at 0.01BTC. Bidding will be done in 0.01BTC increments. Shipping will be $30 for US and $50 for International bidders. This will be added to the winning bid after the auction.(ID will be required upon delivery for pickup) for both domestic U.S. and international customers. Bitcoin is the only accepted form of payment for this auction. Coins for this auction will ship out by July 30th, 2015.

*** There will only be one or two of these to be assembled/sold. Currently I only have one of these and if I ever come across another I will make one more, but that will be it.

One other note is that the hologram is off centered on purpose given the difference in the layout of LEALANA coin metal recess under the holograms when compared to CASASCIUS metal recess placement.

THESE COINS ARE BUYER FUNDED. The winner by bidding on this auction will accept the risks involved with shipping funded coins through USPS registered mail. The coins will be valued at the price paid plus the bitcoin that is loaded on to them. Winner agrees to hold LEALANA, LLC. and myself innocent of any losses while in transit (in the small event the coin goes missing/stolen while in transit).

Any customs/VAT taxes or fees that are placed on the package while going through customs for international customers are the responsibility of the buyer/winner to pay.

Should bids come in at the last minute I will allow for the auction to extended by 15 minute increments between bids. The only thing that distinguishes a 2011 Casascius coin from a 2012 or a 2013 is the hologram that comes with it...soooo....that detail is kind of irrelevant. The hybrid is kind of blasphemous but Casascius isn't a religion so I guess it's all good!

The other NOTICEABLE thing that differs a 2011 Casascius coin from a 2012 or 2013 is that on the front there is the year "2011", "2012", or "2013" stamped on to the coin on its metal surface,... sooooo it is relevant.  :P

If I wanted to make a 2012 hybrid brass coin that would make the coin unique in its own sense as it would be the only 2012 brass hybrid coin.

This is interesting. Id be interested to see what a Lealana physical Bitcoin with a Casascius hologram sold for... Ten again, it'd have to be made by Casascius himself otherwise it'd be pretty pointless.

Forgive my stupidity if this is a stupid question. I read the first post but must have missed something.

Is this a spent Casascius coin that has had a Lealana private key / Hologram applied thus allowing it to be 'reloaded'.

Or is the original 1BTC loaded by Casascius still on there and it has had a Lealana hologram over-applied.

It says its buyer funded. I would say no funds yet, and the Casascius 1 BTC long gone.

I read this as its a blank cas coin, with a new Lealana key and holo. You win the auction, you pay the auction price, you fund the 1BTC face value to the new coin address, coin gets on its way to you

No I have not discussed it with Mike.

The way I see it is that since it is my hologram being applied to one of his coins, I bear the responsibility of ensuring that the private key is secure (based on my terms and conditions listed on my website) and genuine and not duplicated anywhere but on the coin (and not Mike).

Ognasty has done something similar already to Mike's 5 BTC nickel plated brass coins months ago.

Now, if I were to take one of his coins that were not redeemed and opened them, took the key info and put it under my hologram to make the coin unique, that might be something even more interesting to think about. Hmm  :)

Yet another interesting auction posted by smoothie randomly. He's had some pretty unique ones coming out of the woodworks lately. Will be watching to see if this one surpasses the basically 4 BTC bid it's at currently (3BTC bid + 1BTC funding amount).

There is a big difference. That is a gold plated 25 BTC brass coin if I remember correctly.

Obviously the picture says 1 BITCOIN on the coin. So I would presume that what I posted in the picture is of what I was implying. Technicalities.
