Should this be moved to the auction section?   Very curious what this goes for.

Is the nick you can see on the B on the coin or is it on the slap?

The starting BID is 5 BTC, or is that your asking price? If 5 BTC is what you will sell it for then consider it sold

Let's hope so, it's glaring! Also the prefix text is still crooked on the hologram, I'm surprised that got through as an MS 69. It's interesting to try to see how the graders evaluate different coins based on the qualities we can see from these pictures (which obviously isn't as good as seeing the coin in person and without a case over it.)

Good luck in the auction, I'm sure you'll get a fine price or at least be able to test the waters.

ANACS does not care about the hologram so long as it is intact. They only grade the coin itself.

That's interesting news. I would think that the placement of the hologram on the coin and the condition its in would also come into play on the overall grade of the coin. Do you have any other details on the factors ANACS uses to grade coins? It would help a lot for people looking to value the coins they have or value a potential purchase.

They also ended up billing me $50 per coin!

Nope. One of the reasons why ANACS is a piece of shit grading service and why I won't send them any of my coins.

You might as well get ANACS to grade a pizza if you're getting them to grade coins w/ hologram stickers.

I tried that, but got a low grade because the delivery guy drove like crap and my ingredients slid off the pizza (MS-60)  :-\

That sucks! Are any of the other coin grading firms taking an interest in "token grading" of the crypto currency physical coins? I've never seen a non-ANACS graded crypto coin. I'm sure these companies would appreciate the revenue but I guess the volume isn't that great (just us mooks sending coins in!)

CGS they grade crypto coins as well, I have seen them grade Casascius.
There are some interesting details with cross grading between ANACS and CGS, but there are people here who know much more about that then me.

You mean me ?!

I hope to get a thread together this week showing how a sample of 4 CGS graded Casascius 0.1 silver coins then cross graded to ANACS. Pics before in CGS slabs, and after in ANACS slabs. Very interesting indeed ...

I remember master-P sold a graded physical Bitcoin in an ICG slab on here in the past. I think it was a silver Cryptolator Unchained coin but I could be wrong, he had a lot of coins listed at the time.
I would love to see NGC or PCGS take on Casascius and other physical cryptos, I think it would make the physical BTC market boom.

On Topic- An amazing coin you have there, good luck with the sale.
