He's flying around my aquarium (which I haven't turned the light off) and whenever I turn my room lights back on he darts behind my wardrobe like a fucking serial killer. I can't sleep. Too scared.

Setup a pedestal fan so its blowing directly across your body while you sleep and you wont get bitten ;) That hanging sticky paper while disgusting works well and wont harm your fish. Also dont forget those cool electric swatters - they work great but break quickly (dont pay over $5 AUD for one).
