Post by: ðºÞæ on July 18, 2015, 08:14:17 AM
During the Dutch Golden Age in the late 16th century onward, the Dutch Republic dominated world trade in the 17th century, conquering a vast colonial empire and operating the largest fleet of merchantmen of any nation. The County of Holland was the wealthiest and most urbanized region in the world., then came Rampjaar (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rampjaar) and the country was was attacked by England, France, and Germany  (prince-bishops Bernhard von Galen, bishop of Münster and Maximilian Henry of Bavaria, the archbishop of Cologne).

So a difference in dates is the cube of the number seven in one calendar system.....

Clearly we should devise a new calendar system that allows every day to be the cube of one or another number.  This would be the best thing since sliced bread.

No shortage of   calendar systems (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_calendars), but business has been done on  Gregorian calendar (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gregorian_calendar) since 1582
Until 1672 Dutch where masters of the universe and ruled world trade
