Title: Source code of old bitcoin versions Post by: halftimepad on July 18, 2015, 05:27:10 PM I was curious and wanted to check how the disabled opcodes of script were implemented in the earlier versions of the bitcoin client.
In github I can only find versions back to bitcoin 0.8. Is there any repository with the old code? I couldn't find my way around the older versions.
The dates are strange. What happens if you start working on a branch and then make it a release? I guess you can create a fork, work on it and then that code becomes the new release. That would explain the commits before the release, but I'm not really familiar with the fine detail of github.
