Title: Please help us to find funds for our first mining farm
Post by: bitbabba on July 19, 2015, 08:47:28 AM
Hello,

We have everything to start our farm except money to buy miners.
We arrived to Kazakhstan and here the electricity cost less than 4 euro cents. The price that we didn't even dream!!! You can check that Kazakhstan is one of the country with the cheapest electricity rates in the world!! Through my friends we even got a free warehouses.
The btcjam and bitlending club take too much time and it is hard to get big  investments there. What do you think about kickstarter or indiegogo?
Do you know other ways to find investors?

Sure, try Kickstarter. Because the one thing the world really needs more of is foreign mining farms.  ;D

Good luck

How much money are you looking for? Can you show us a plan of your business, to prove that you really about to do it and not run with our money?
There are too many scams out there.
Thanks

The idea is to ask about 7000 us dollars that are enough  to buy 10 antminers s5 and psu for them and let them work.  We have cheap electricity so we can repay the debts in 6 - 7 months with the mining income. That's a simple plan. If you want to invest for real in my project, pm me. We will upload all data  and show the miners 24/7 on a webcam or if you want you can come here and do with us!

My advice NEVER take a loan for a mining situation.  Mining is no guarantee on profit.  Yes you can do it if done right.

But asking an investor to take the risk instead of you taking it yourself is not responsible.

btjam have not a good reputation, i've heard bad story about it, isn't better for you to try to borrow money from high trusted members here on bicointalk? but remember that you need something significative as a collateral

or you might start slow, by buying few machines at first and then increase when you reach roi, it could be a solution

I wouldn't recommend Kickstarter, but you can try it. You can try to take a loan from your bank, maybe.. This is the best option for you.

lol i understand.
i know kickstarter cannot help you because it does not accept bitcoin.
mining farm wastes major amount of electricity, you should consider about electricity saving.

The risk is that you disappear after you get the money, never to be heard from again. To eliminate this risk, the lender could buy the AntMiner S5 units and mine coins for himself. After a period of time (6-7 months) the units should be paid off, at which point he would ship the units to you for free. That way there is no risk and everybody gets what they want. However, I strongly suspect that isn't what you really want.

I totally can understand this concern.

Can you suggest me what I can do to prove my legitimacy  and honesty to you guys.

Thx

nothing aside from appropriate collateral will get you anything on this forum, especially considering what is your probably alt account said they "trust you 100%" but has received negative feedback already for attempting a reputation loan or something. if you think fake references can get you a donation here like on btcjam, you are very, very wrong.

My "alt account" is not mine but belongs to the person who introduced me here!

I'm not asking for a donation but for suggestions.

Can you suggest me a collateral different than money (I have just 2.5 btc at this moment not enough to be a valid collateral).

Bye
