Title: Water Cooling, Mining rigs Post by: bsdpunk on September 26, 2012, 04:27:49 AM Is it worth it to water cool mining rigs? What's the average rise in power consumption? I got a 100 dollar amazon gift card, so I'm considering getting an inexpensive cooler and trying it out.

The main reason to water cool is to have a lower temperature at the chip at peak performance (and thus increase life time) and to reduce the noise level by increasing the surface for cooling. |
