Sounds like coins with the DCAM designation could command a higher sale price on the secondary market. It's generally irrespective of grading numbers, but I don't think there will be something like AU58 with DCAM. If there is it will be uncommon I guess. My question might seem pretty obvious for the experts, but according to the pictures the 1Btc Silver really look like the 1Btc Gilt/Silver (some people call them Gold/Silver if i understood correctly, although there is no gold in them). So i was wondering if the differences between these two coins were really noticiable. Also, in terms of value, would it be reasonnable to think that a Gilt/Silver is 10% higher than a Silver of the same grading? What do you think? They both look pretty indistinguishable to me. If I remember rightly Casascius took existing all silver coins and added the gold plating to them. The gold/silver is rarer, 483 vs 1300 all silver, and one of the last coins he offered. I ordered mine from him a few days before he got shut down. I'm not sure if it's worth more but those are some factors plus it looks sexier too. Not because of the gold element, just because they are slightly rarer. Some folks also like the look of them better ... although opinion is split there.
