I am getting a new laptop (a gaming one) that cost's $1100 and would also like to mine some GPU/CPU only coins for fun! I would like to know what the best coins are to mine for both. It'd also be of great help to know an estimate of how much I'll make (per day) for the GPU/CPU coin.
CPU: 4th Gen Intel® Core™ i7-4720HQ processor (2.6GHz normal and up to 3.6GHz Turbo). GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960M (2GB of dedicated GDDR5 RAM) Also, have 12GB of DDR3L RAM if that matters. IF you are really interested in mining I suggest a last gen asic to try things out with and learn, could be sha (bitcoin) or scrypt (litecoin and some alts). even if you have a gaming laptop and cooler boost 3? You might have warranty on it and can get it replaced for free... you have to figure that out for yourself! |
