Title: Anyone used a Bitcoin NFC wallet card?
Post by: Abiky on July 23, 2015, 05:11:26 PM
I've been interested in purchasing a Bitcoin NFC wallet card, but I'm not sure how it works. Never used NFC features on my phone so I'm not very familiar with it. Anyone used this type of card for storing/withdrawing BTC before? If this works, it could be my wallet on the go! Thanks in advance.  ;)

That card looks really sexy and I love the "infinity" expiration date, would be tempted to get that out to pay with. But to be honest, whats the point when you can pay with smartphone through Mycellium or something?

I thought of that as well. I only became interested in this card because of its design and versatility. It looks pretty much like a Bitcoin credit card to me  ;D

If the NFC card is used to store a private key for signing transactions, it had better be passworded or/and stored in a faraday-cage (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Faraday_cage) enclosure to prevent electronic emanations (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tempest_(codename)) from being intercepted. (read: compromised private key).

Proceed with EXTREME CAUTION!
