Hi all,

I'm looking for casino that offers blackjack tournament. I hope there is at least one

there is none , too bad .

I requested it for too long but noone accepted this challenge, so I gave up

The best you can do is suggest the idea (in official thread) to any larger casino that already offers blackjack and hope they'll like the idea. But generally casinos seem to rather avoid any type of Player Vs Player games.

Probably the reason it doesn't exist is the efforts developers would have to put in to develope a separate software for it. Most of the sites right now use existing software clients with only some changes.

But I feel they definitely should add it to the sites as like pokertournies they can take 10% of the buy in amount just as rake , so it would also generate a lot more earning to the casinos.

Even for a special event a software have to be either made or bought and added to the Casino to allow it and maybe the Casinos don't see that much demand for it. This is the first time I have heard someone asking for it and that tells about how much people really want to play it.

But that being said if there were any casinos offering it I think many people will love to give it a shot, including me. Let's see if some casinos think about adding it.

but can't remember the site name, ages ago.

Unfortunately if you want to play online tournaments Blackjack is not the best choice. As others said, there is no demand for this kind of tournaments.
Majority of people play blackjack vs house exclusively and they don't care about tourneys. I doubt that you can do something about it, even if you suggest this topic to some leading casinos.

this should be an idea to any casino to create BJ tournament.

yes most people don't care about tourneys. and as not many are offering it there must be a reason for it
why would I waste my time in a tourney if  can switch from casino/Blackjack table to casino/Blackjack table and play my game

I feel the same. Having a blackjack tournament which is a game that is purely luck based would be no different than a PVP.

It would be great if you inform us the name of the facebook apps where we can play a blackjack tournaments. I have searched it with keyword "blackjack" but its hard to know which one is offering blackjack tournament.

I'll ask local casinos what think about it ;-)

Those apps wont accept real money and there is no fun in playing facebook blackjack without any money.



There are already Live Blackjack tournaments that happen around the world. However this topic was posted to also have tournaments online .

BJ tournaments do happen but not in all the casinos. I remember seeing some tournaments like WSOP , called WSOB specifically for blackjack. A simple good shows tons of results.

So far there is no blackjack tournament around. Blackjack is quite boring unlike poker where you can play against one another.
This may be the reason for the lack of interest for blackjack tournament.

We can try to make a small tournament here in the forum with some members. We can do it by playing in a table with play money, but each one will pay enterance to escrow. Is it possible?

Blackjack tournament sounds good. Count with me too.

Ultimate Bet used to have them, and so did a few of those subscription poker sites (pay x a month to play a zillion "freerolls" and maybe cash in ht e big tournament at the end of the month).

They work sort of like a sit and go in poker. Everyone sits at the same table with the same # of chips. You take turns placing your bet (with the person going first changing every hand) so that there is some strategy in how much you bet, and the person with the most chips at the end (an amount of time or number of hands) wins the most money.

You can add in other stuff like secret bets (you get to keep your bet a secret until after the hand is over), elimination hands (whoever has the least amount of chips after the hand is out) and whatnot.

It adds some other strategy to blackjack. If someone makes a big bet before you you can bet small and hope the dealer wins that hand. You might need to double a hand that you wouldn't in real life to get over the max bet.

Really nice idea tornament of blackjack, like Las Vegas real Casino.

i heard lot of poker tournaments in this forum but was never heard about blackjack tournaments and i do interested if there are because blackjack is one of my favourite games

Why can't you just play regular Black Jack? What is different in tournament version for you?
Apart from Poker tourneys there is no other tournaments I heard of while playing online on bitcoin powered casinos.
The best offer you can find are occasional promotions and events, but none of them is a 'tournament' vs. other users.

he means maybe we can set the bankroll to each participants and starts playing as long as possible, the players who won highest chips is the winner. and of course with a certain period the tournament ended. i would like to join if there is a tournament like this. i am not interested to something like wagering tournament so if you suggest to join cryptogames.net bj tournament i am not interested .

I think it's mainly for the achievement, imagine yourself holding a virtual trophy for winning the 1st place at tournament ;D
But if there's a tournament i think i just wanted to spend my time as i have a lot of free time lately
And maybe if i lucky i can bring home a few Bitcoin :P
