you should move this topic to the currency exchange OP. it'll get more attention there.
there's a move topic button at the bottom left of the page.

You got proof of funds? Give us the address and a signed message from that.
You willing to use Escrow?

Sent email and PM.

make sure you either use escrow or sell to a well know and trusted member.

A few red flags over this one though.

Yes. Seems too good to be true.
Probably also a hacked gmail account.

I am sorry to say that you are wasting your time. There is a reason why this person created an account to create this thread and that reason is not to sell Bitcoin ::)

True, but I'm sure DannyHamilton is more experienced and capable of not getting scammed whether its money or banking/ID information or w/e.
I'm endearingly watching this thread to see if this is a windfall jackpot or another scam. *Popcorn crunching noises*.

This isn't my first rodeo. I'm not walking into this situation blind.

He might be an experienced trader and he might be able to protect himself from loosing money to this person (I would consider these things to both be true)however that doesn't mean he won't have his time wasted while the OP makes an attempt to scam him.

scam written all over it from the start, and not a very good one  ::)

I like to imagine that this is a lady who lives in a South Amercian country,
who received 12 BTC from her dying father, who received them on a paper wallet,
from a strange man who arrived at their village/town one day, then he disappeared. (Satoshi?  :o)
Her father, as he was dying, passed them to her and said, "This is magic keep forever."
The next day, she went to the city and paid for a computer in a internet cafe, and here we are.

That is what I would like to believe.  LOL!

Edit: punctuation etc

Having your time wasted by scammers is all part of the crypto trading environment, but you can't just start assuming every newbie is scamming (although most are).

I also ask for a signed message from address to prove they have the funds they are offering to sell. If they don't provide this I move on simple and only takes a few minutes of my time!

Occasionally they surprise me and provide this and a trade takes place. I have done over 100 trades now out of escrow where someone I don't know has sent to me first trusting me purely on reputation!   :)

I will remove my negative trust and comment if this turns out to be legit.

I'm sure others will to.

We asked for a signed message from that address. Anyone can take a screenshot of a random address and claim it as their own.

Also, not accepting escrow? You're definately a scammer.

I posted in this thread.
I sent a PM.
I sent an email.

The only response I've gotten so far is the following PM:

hi.please call me by email
my inbox is full.

I'm willing to buy all 10 BTC, but the OP doesn't seem to be willing to respond to me.

Yes I have a scammer at the moment whose getting mad as he has 95 BTC he wants to sell me and claims he mines the coins himself, but doesn't know how to sign a message on wallet address  ???

He then tells me that doesn't matter as he's taking the risk accepting paypal!

I agree that he's right and accept his logic so tell him to send me the first 25 BTC and I will make the payment. Sorry he says I have to make payment first. Fine I say least do it through Escrow and I will even pay the paypal fees.

I'm still waiting on a reply  ;)

On the flip side someone contacted me the other day offered me 5 BTC for a reasonable price and I was sure it was a scammer. I told them send first and once confirmed I would make the payment and would you believe it 5 minutes later 5 BTC incoming and I didn't even know the person!!!

I of course paid them once confirmed was just surprised in the trust to be honest!

Fuck me then.

Maybe if you act even more offended, someone will believe you.

Or maybe you're just an idiot and no one's falling for it.

I've concluded you must be just dead fucking bored or you're desperately in need of some good entertainment. Youtube/Netflix is probably a better option.

Perhaps, though it takes less than a minute to make the attempt.

Youtube/Netflix is probably a better option.

What do you think I'm doing while I'm waiting for this person to bother to respond to me?

It's not like I'm staring at my mail client, repeatedly hitting the "refresh inbox" every few seconds, desperately waiting for a chance to interact with this user.
