I didn't edit, and Hal is correct. Weird because he's planning on returning vis-à-vis full circle.

I assume you're talking about the cryopreservation.
won't be possible with the current technology. I think it'll take decades before we can revive anyone that has been cryopreserved, maybe longer.

Seriously, you couldn't just Google April 5, 1975 with Bitcoin or "The Times" with Bitcoin to make a simple connection?

Told you it was weird. Glad you liked it.

Besides Tom Williams, would you think it weird if another person is connected between Pecunix, MyBitcoin AND BitGold, a person who via an Easter egg brought to light the April 5, 1975, Easter egg?

"The Pioneer has before declared that our only safety depends upon the total extirmination of the bankers. Having wronged them for centuries, we had better, in order to protect our civilization, follow it up by one more wrong and wipe these untamed and untamable creatures from the face of the earth."

I took the liberty of removing the [sic] and changing ONLY one [obvious] word. Your task, if you choose to go down that road, is to uncover the date of when the above was first written and how it, and the above quote, relates to Bitcoin.

I believe that you'll agree with me that what you uncover will [still] be weird.

Edwin Booth. brother of his father's killer.

first written somewhere between December 29, 1890 to January 3, 1891.
January 3rd: Genesis Block Day.

I'm not sure what the quote have to do with bitcoin. but the [obvious] word apparently are pro bitcoin. that alone combined with the date are weird enough.

Dude, how the hell were you able to ascertain the date of the quote but couldn't connect it's author's major contribution to society? What roads do you travel?

The idea of Semantic Web has been around for a very long time, much longer than most people have been online. In fact, the idea of a “cloud computer” was first introduced in the 1950’s. Remington Rand built a UNIVAC Cloud Computer in the mid-1950’s. (http://box30136.com/2010/11/23/naming-conventions-and-their-importance-to-semantic-web/)

I think you're tryin' to trick me into believing you know what I'm alluding (eluding, if you pen copy for BitGold) to.

Here: http://thefarwilds.com/About_Us.html

Scroll to the bottom of the page and see if you can connect Code Collective LLC to Christopher Burdett who does some sort of work for the government.

this "work for the government" can't be related to some game company, I presume?

How is that after I gave you the game's name - http://thefarwilds.com/About_Us.html - you turned around and guess it's D&D? If I had shown you a baseball, would you've guess the sport to be badminton?

Looks like I have have to connect the weird dots on this one.

The site is The Far Wilds.

Christopher Burdett of Code Collective LLC, the dude who does some type of work for the government, created the artwork for the card game.

Christopher Burdett created his Twitter account at the beginning of October, 2008. On October 31, 2008, Satoshi Nakamoto released the Bitcoin White Paper.

Who owns The Far Wilds? Jed McCaleb.

Who is Jed McCaleb? Only the first dude to sign up on Mt Gox because he was its original creator is all.

Weird, eh?

The WOTD is "helix".

The year is 1878.

What two amazing things happened in that year directly related to the WOTD?

Yes, one is relatively easy to figure out, but wait till you learnt the other, of which there may be a connection. Weird!

Title: Re: Weird Trivia

found 2 events that happened all over the world and could be related to each other if one believe in supernatural things. but I still don't know for sure if those events are related to the WOTD directly (although I did find that word on various pages related to those 2 events). plus one of them isn't what I'd call amazing.. more like terrible.

gonna save it until tonight. can't concentrate with all these noises. feel free to throw a hint.  ;D

Helix = DNA (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DNA#History_of_DNA_research) (that was the easy one)

Here's an obtuse hint for the other one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mf2O3OAQjng (helix + 1 keyword gleaned from its title ---> Google [images] -quotes)

I did connect helix with dna. but thought that the answer was something else.

so googled around for the second answer... and I found Lorreto Chapel. which might have been completed in 1872 (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Churches_completed_in_1872) OR 1878 (http://www.lorettochapel.com/staircase.html).
I think that's the answer, but I'll triple check just to be sure. yea. I think it's that.

Bingo! Weird, eh?

In 1878 a dude presents the DNA double-helix and another dude builds a helix spiral stairway [to heaven]. I'm pretty sure I'm the first to connect these dots, but please correct me if I'm mistaken.

It's probably only a coincidence that the spiral staircase has 46 spindle thingies, 46 as in the number of chromosomes there are in DNA.
