Title: Cameron getting tough on money laundering
Post by: Buffer Overflow on July 28, 2015, 08:43:46 AM
Seems Cameron will start clamping down on illegal money laundering enterprises here in UK.

Does that mean he's going to shut down HSBC?

That would be an end for the British banking system and would wreck the property business as well :). So I guess this will be some sort of protection racketeering attempt for patching holes in the budget.

The government is to publish Land Registry data later this year, setting out which foreign companies own land and property in England and Wales.

So what is going to change? The British people will be able to see that some beautiful mansion in Belgravia belongs to a trust from the Carribean, and then what? There's nothing wrong with this.
