Title: Looking For Australian In NSW with Free Power (Prefer legit Solar)
Post by: lovenlifelarge on July 30, 2015, 12:49:25 PM
I have a C1 Bitmain 1TH miner & a S4 Bitmain 2TH miner & live in Sydney

I believe that solar returns thru government tariffs have slipped to 0.20 per KW & was wondering if someone could supply a home (Business preferably cause of the noise)  would they like to split the returns of 3Th with me?

I will come & install & remote monitor the 2 machines all u need is an always on internet connection, Somewhere to house them & solar power so we arent going to eat into your bill (This would totally negate what i wanted to do here using electricity)

As a token of good faith in this if the machines are still running & ur still happy with the agreement after 2 years i would be willing to donate u the machines free of charge to keep...

I figure i'll have new machines by then anyway... Let me know if anyone is interested??

Seems like a bad deal for whoever will host your miners for free. With 3 TH's thats around $300 per month. So even if mining is constant for around the next 12 months you get over $3600. And in 2 years the guy hosting your miners will be stuck with dinosour equipment which won't make any more money after the halving.

Believe it or not I know a guy in NSW with a solar farm who might be interested (he runs some miners).
He might be interested in just buying out your hardware, how much are you looking for it?

How is splitting the coin made for 2 years with the person & giving them the gear after 2 years a bad deal??

Half of $3600 is $1800 for them & me plus they get the gear

Solar power is not free, it would be more accurate to say that it is paid for in advance. Whoever has solar power would have had to purchase the solar panels which are expensive, plus will need to pay whatever maintenance costs associated with owning such solar panels. Often times solar power will be more expensive then buying from the electric company
