I just thought I would post here about a project I'm working on to get alternative energy sources approved in towns and cities around where I live. Unless you're going against some ordinance, getting things approved is retardedly easy (besides the time spent waiting for the next meeting). Don't spend money unless they ask you to, just saying. And if they're going to be little Hitlers and not approve it based on appearance, a model isn't going to help anyway.

Since these are going to be in neighborhoods in people's backyards and the like, they want to see what the possible impact would be on the value of surrounding homes and if it's going to be an eyesore. Plus, this would be traveling with for the sake of demonstrating to those more difficult and stubborn city councils. It's not just for one town.
