Title: Buying pirate/bitcoinmax debt, paying 1-2.5%
Post by: Ente on September 29, 2012, 04:04:37 PM
Hello everyone,

I buy BTCST, pirate, bitcoinmax etc accounts.
I pay 1 to 2.5% of its "value", depending on:

- Size (the larger the better, I don't want dozens of tiny accounts)
- Actual invested sum without interest
- Account type (direct pirate being more valuable than ppt)
- If ppt: did the PPT operator pass on account infos to pirate?

I hold a bitcoinmax account. If you have other suggestions, like exchanging account types for example, let me know.

If you don't say otherwise, I may update this thread with anonymized offers I received by pm.

You know, if you're looking to make money off of this, you probably won't.  Pirate defaulted, and the SEC is investigating him, which means that there is probably something off about him.

Actually, I never was involved in this pirate mess until he defaulted. Then, judging mostly on Matthew's bet, I bought some debt. In hindsight, I paid way too much for it, so I wish to "double down" now, with investing a small additional sum to substantially enhance my holding.
I don't really believe pirate will pay out anything at all. At this point, it is just cost-risk-calculations for me..
