Title: How to recognize Best hosting company? Post by: Keeva on August 01, 2015, 11:30:25 PM Hello guys,
Please suggest me How to recognize which hosting is best for our websites? Thank you, Title: Re: How to recognize Best hosting company? Post by: hexafraction on August 01, 2015, 11:52:31 PM First of all, why the crazy formatting? What benefit is red bold italic text?
Second, it very much depends on your situation. It depends on what you're hosting, how reliable you need it to be, how many visitors/how much load, and what your budget is. Imagine if I asked you to recommend me a motor vehicle and gave no more detail. Title: Re: How to recognize Best hosting company? Post by: achow101 on August 02, 2015, 02:43:16 AM If you are looking for free VPS servers, you can check out Amazon Web Services. They require you to configure everything yourselves but for their basic model servers, they are free for the first twelve months.
Title: Re: How to recognize Best hosting company? Post by: LuckyYOU on August 02, 2015, 05:27:17 PM it depends if what kind of website your going to plan and if you have an estimated daily visitors
Title: Re: How to recognize Best hosting company? Post by: Dave4You on August 02, 2015, 05:30:06 PM I personally recommend you SteadyTurtle , not because im on their campaign but before I tried their services , and very friendly people
Title: Re: How to recognize Best hosting company? Post by: Deathwing on August 02, 2015, 05:31:04 PM I'd say Microsoft Azure, at least for me they have very good support. Sometimes they are calling or emailing me and asking if I am satisfied, I liked that a lot.
Title: Re: How to recognize Best hosting company? Post by: ColderThanIce on August 02, 2015, 06:28:25 PM If you're looking to pay with Bitcoin I recommend checking out Namecheap (https://www.namecheap.com/). They have fair prices, great support and accept bitcoin as well. I've been using them for about a year now for hosting, and I've bought a couple domains through them as well. Never had any issues on their end, but their live chat always answered my questions quickly.
Title: Re: How to recognize Best hosting company? Post by: SFR10 on August 03, 2015, 03:07:50 AM well you have to do a research regarding their support , being 24/7 is no enough , each member of their support team must know how to help with every single problem , next is the up time of the servers and lastly the details of the hosting plan itself

Title: Re: How to recognize Best hosting company? Post by: examplens on August 05, 2015, 10:24:00 PM Best way to recognise is to try. The rule is no rules
some hosting providers are falsely commended, and some for no reason vilified Title: Re: How to recognize Best hosting company? Post by: Superhitech on August 06, 2015, 05:30:26 PM I personally recommend you SteadyTurtle , not because im on their campaign but before I tried their services , and very friendly people I second this. I have been using their service for a few months now, and I think that their service is quite good. They have affordable prices, the hosting is quite good, and they reply to support tickets very quickly. Post by: seedtrue on August 06, 2015, 10:10:10 PM I have always use DigitalOcean, but you cant use bitcoin for it. I just turn a droplet (vps) there into a virtual host and I can host as many domains/sites as I want to. It may not b e the best, or the cheapest, but I am used to it. I have never had an issue with them whatsoever.

The rule is no rules some hosting providers are falsely commended, and some for no reason vilified I second this . I am using godaddy because I heard of them on TV once and they stuck with me. Now many tech savy people do not enjoy them but I got used to it and had no problem so far. Try whichever you want and the one you like stays with you until they do wrong by you. Title: Re: How to recognize Best hosting company? Post by: Pips on August 07, 2015, 01:22:29 AM My tip is to ignore everyone recommending hosting companies. Yes, it sounds a bit harsh. But what's good for them might not necessarily be good for you.
Look around, check everything out, read reviews, and ultimately, try them out. Finding a good host isn't easy, but it's well worth it. Title: Re: How to recognize Best hosting company? Post by: ranlo on August 08, 2015, 03:54:55 AM All hosting companies are different. I've used ~20 different ones in the past and then landed on FlipperHost (http://www.flipperhost.com/billing/aff.php?aff=30) (aff). They've been beyond awesome. I've now been with them 20 months. Cheap, fast, efficient, and their support is magnificent. If nothing else, I'd at least look into them. Do note, however, that they don't take bitcoin.
Title: Re: How to recognize Best hosting company? Post by: juliahans on August 10, 2015, 08:04:52 AM I strongly believe that asphostportal.com will serve your demands on the most favorable terms. They offer high quality hosting solutions with 100% uptime, professional support and useful features with affordable price. I feel fortunate to have found them and recommend them highly.
Title: Re: How to recognize Best hosting company? Post by: hexafraction on August 10, 2015, 09:40:58 PM I have had a pleasant experience with HostSailor paying with Bitcoin on their smallest VPS. When I was close to a resource overage, they were flexible and allowed me to pay a reasonable amount to lift my cap for that one month. I'm not going to post a ref-link here directly (for obvious reasons), but if you'd like one, let me know.
Title: Re: How to recognize Best hosting company? Post by: techgeek on August 11, 2015, 05:46:37 PM Well theres plenty of hosting options out there.
Its more of the price point, and paying a yearly small time fee for it. Eventually most people get confused as how traffic will be if the website does get popular which is what a CDN is for.. and what hosting is really needed or not. Pick the cheapest ones out there like bluehost and use their promo code if they have one, or ask for one. Then get a free CDN like cloudflare to worry about incoming traffic or future DDOS. I'm not going to post a ref-link here directly (for obvious reasons), but if you'd like one, let me know. That's awesome, for them to let you have flexibility like that. It's a lot like the one I linked to in my prior post (FlipperHost) in that regard, and that's really rare, so huge +1. I spent so many years with one crappy host after another before landing with mine, and I couldn't be happier. It has seriously completely changed my outlook on sites and such, and made everything much more pleasurable. Also, your host looks to be slightly cheaper than mine on VPS, which is awesome. Can you share your uptime, though? I run multiple ping processes on mine and my last update showed 30d uptime as 99.9862%. Title: Re: How to recognize Best hosting company? Post by: jdebunt on August 12, 2015, 10:55:07 AM I usually stick to Namecheap for both hosting and domains. They accept BTC, they're well established, seems like a no-brainer to me :)
Title: Re: How to recognize Best hosting company? Post by: Novak (Pairex - design) on August 12, 2015, 11:05:40 AM Today almost all providers use virtual servers at the same data centers. Yes sure there are many 'private' servers but even small companies just resell their virtual space at the data centers.
Therefore the question is... what kind of additional features and awesome CPL options they have and what you need. Support quality and uptime, sure. But even a very good support can't guarantee good uptime. Uptime is all and it depends more on data center responsibility. Same with internet providers across the globe. There are good and bad segments too. Title: Re: How to recognize Best hosting company? Post by: ranlo on August 13, 2015, 01:05:46 AM I usually stick to Namecheap for both hosting and domains. They accept BTC, they're well established, seems like a no-brainer to me :) The generally accepted method for safety is to use different providers for domains and hosting. It's a lot like spreading your investments across multiple businesses/stocks -- you don't want all your eggs in one basket because then you give them full control over everything. Seems like the OP didn't return to this thread, but imo, answers like Pips' are correct. This is why i asked for more info from the OP in my first reply... If you want to host a small, static website that will get 100-500 uniques/day, and it doesn't matter if it only has 95% uptime, you can get hosting for less than a buck a month (or even free). If you want to host an extensive php/mysql website with 100.000+ visitors, and it is your main income (meaning you want a 99.99% uptime SLA), it'll cost you a lot more. It's not the best idear to just chose a hosting provider without knowing most of the details... |
