So I missed the MtGox claim because I forgot the password I used. I tried their forgot password function but it never worked. Emailed support never got a reply. However today on Aug 1st, I finally logged in after trying different password combinations. MtGox said I have about 10BTC and $1500, I tried to click the claim button but I think it's not letting me. What should I do now or am I out of luck?

I would email kraken directly and tell them your story.  They are in-charge of receiving claims. 

You might be out of luck, but for that much money a few emails are worth it.

Better start with kraken as they will likely provide a better support service.  After that go direct. Dont know what chances you'll have though.  I hope i got my claim all correct first time : /.

Op, you just forgot password to your MtGox exchange account containing over 10BTC and $1500 on it? Are you that rich you don't care about money or something?
Normal people would be stacking backup of these password under a pillows or something, anyway every MtGox issues have been taken by Kraken so your best bet is to talk to their support.

Kraken had pretty good support. Told me to send in a claim by mail so I did. Hopefully that'll go through but if it doesn't then o well. I had long written off the MtGox loss in my mind, hence the reason I forgot the password (The days before I started using lastpass).

You missed the first deadline for filing a claim online, then they extended it to July 28, so you missed the second deadline by about a week. I don't know if the deadline for mailed claims is different. If you get lucky they might extend the deadline for a third time, or they might allow your claim due to mitigating circumstances.

The MtGox trustee has announced that the deadline for filing creditor claims online has been extended to 8:00pm, July 28, 2015 PDT

Feels bad, i know people that have lost stuff like twitter passwords and it's been impossible to recover access to twitter accounts, so im guessing when dealing with money it will be even more complicated. There are people in reddit that has lost hundred of thousands in BTC through MTgox so im guessing there is a long list above you. The fact you lost the login pass is your fault tho.

I don't understand why you didn't use the kraken claim way. If i would have much money on gox i would, for sure, run behind and search how to do it.

The trustee even made the deadline longer one time. You had all time of the world. That you didn't care enough might be your punishment. I can't really get myself to feel pity for you.
