Title: When to go solo?
Post by: MiningBuddy on June 02, 2011, 07:57:58 PM
When would you say is a good time to go solo.
Interested in hearing your stories of luck and misfortune, especially when compared to your estimates.
How do you feel given the current difficulty level and are you considering joining a pool in the future if difficulty levels continue to rise at a large %?

I would say go solo when you think you can find a block or two in a week.  You'd need like 4-5G hashes to get a block a week on average with the current difficulty level...
