Title: Reformatting.
Post by: ttyler333 on June 02, 2011, 08:04:20 PM
How do i keep my bitcoins? I currently have deepfreeze and had to reinstall bitcoins. I lost all my "coins"... And got a new address. Bitcoins should offer a way to retrieve those. Such as asking for email or even generating a unique string for each user that can never be changed. All you do is enter it into the program and it'll pull up your data as long as you get the security code right.

Anyways I still got my old codes.. is there any way readd them to my bitcoins.exe ?

Is that a file? Umm deepfreeze.. lrn2search too buddy. Deepfreeze removes all files added.. and adds all files removed since installation of the program. I have since removed it and yeah now have that issue...

restore backup (if you have any). if you don't have the wallet.dat, the coins are lost forever. no way of recovering.
