Mt.Gox Scandal: French-born Mark Karpeles, head of the failed Mt Gox Bitcoin exchange, was arrested in Tokyo. The arrest comes eight months after Japanese police said they were confident the incident that saw most of the Bitcoin held by Mt Gox evaporate was the result of fraudulent transactions. I am very sorry for the people who lost their life savings though. They did nothing wrong by trusting Mt.Gox. Same thing can still happen to the other big exchanges. LOL. he's like a little kid, not a CEO... what did anyone expect? that he'd be straight-forward, accountable, responsible? he acted like a spoiled 5 year old and many many people paid dearly and just like DPR*, hes going to deny, deny, deny, until they find him (rightfully) guilty, then he'll cry, say "I'm sorry, I didn't know what I was doing!" all the way to jail we need some adults in this industry not crybaby millennials who expect a free pass at every turn even when they are knowingly flouting the law *I know, I know, there's more to the DPR story than plain old fraud, yet he sure didn't want to own up to anything that he did do, and when the jig was up he basically said..."but I thought I was a Good Guy...sorry" there's no way he didn't realize the severity of his actions and the seriousness of its criminal implications. its like these kids think the "court of public opinion" is higher than the law. "Don't do the crime if you cant do the time" should have the addendum; "Twitter aint going to help you now" but I digress, DPR had a lot of supporters on ideological grounds. Mark K has zero friends.
