No photos, no details about owners, no address = another mining SCAM!!!

Stop feeding scammers with your coins.

Invest into PoS coins instead, much safer and equally profitable.

Blatant scam, it's not hard to see what these guys are planning to do :)

I wouldn't trust it. Judging by that chat you had with them, it's obvious that they don't want to disclose their location, all they want is to
get your money. Keeping their location a secret can have no legit reason to support it, it's like hiding location of supermarkets and banks ...
imho just an another scam in the making.

cheers

from what I just read on your conversation , whoever handle it , its not professional and likely it's just another scam , one thing I've learned from talking to legit support stuff , they will do best to get your attention in using their services but in this case , he didn't

This website looks pretty lame, it screams "scam". No privacy policy page, no contact us page... Amateur as hell. I would look else where.

The site is fishy, i can't find about their company profile/ they personal profile. I have already make some conversation, and ask for show a company profile to 'Mark', but he said they don't have a company, they are a couple of guys who have invested in bulk buying a lot miner from bitmain. This is some conversation:
Quote
Visitor
can you show photos of your company?
i cant find about your company profile
Mark
we are just a couple of guys who have invested in bulk buying lots of miners from bitmain, we don't have a company profile
a photo of our company would just be a pile of boxes
Visitor
you guys should add your profile even if you don't have a company
Mark
maybe in the future but for now we are doing fine with what we have got

Thanks Guys, it did not look right but very new to this area so not used yet to the number of scams that this field seems to generate. Link to this came from an ebay add for an S5.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Bitcoin-Antminer-S5-1155GHs-Brand-New-In-UK-/291532074738?hash=item43e0aa6ef2

Purports to come from Kettering Northamptonshire but down the page mentioned Mainland Mining.

The S5 does not fit with the other items being sold so could be a stolen account?

another chat proving they are pure 1000% scam:

Quote
Hi! Can we answer a question for you?
Visitor
why your prices are 50% lower then the real ones?

Mark has joined the chat!

Visitor
how can you guarantee your existence..

Mark
They arent

Visitor
antminer S3 + 750W Corsair for 60 pounds is something not real. they are traded at around 80-100 pounds only the S3

Mark
they are used
I am getting rid of my old S3 farms ready to replace them with newer models
i ROI'ed on those months ago

Visitor
can we pick them up and pay during the pickup
?

Mark
yes but we require part payment as a deposit to stop timewasters

Visitor
if i want to take more than 50% of the miners i'll be probably not timewaster...

Mark
by timewasters I mean when people say they will turn up and dont bother

Visitor
ok, i'll ask one more time because i don't want fake deals, if a friend of mine comes to arranged location and time with money would it be possible to collect/buy them?

Mark
yes only after a deposit is received, we have had people arrange to collect and we have waited for 2hours for nothing because they dont turn up

Visitor
i have intention to take all 56 miners but i won't send any deposit before that, i'm sick of fake deals as I said. If you don't want to sell them locally fine, i'll make a deal only in place when I see them

Mark
no problem, I will sell them locally only once I have some security to show you are coming. Which you not willing to do... so we would rather just sell them as we are

Visitor
you need to understand that it's full of fake sellers, last month i send 1 BTC for S5 and i got nothing so i'm willing to take them with my conditions, think about it

Mark
no problem, we have already received 26BTC this week, so I will stick to my statement about the deposit
we really arent having much of a problem getting custom

Visitor
fine, good luck with the selling

Mark
Thanks, and thank you for your enquiry

The user which is selling those part sell S5 in EBAY with following username -> http://www.ebay.co.uk/usr/adbaker8?_trksid=p2047675.l2559
DON"T GET CHEATET !

Be careful!
seem very suspicious to me. As you already mentioned.. the prices are simply too low; too good to be true.
You better do an intensive research about these guys before going on and buying stuff.

I would also suggest not to try. Good think is that we have topic here already so anyone trying to search could find this. Thanks for the support.

I am pushing the bids up on the "Bargain" 10 x S5 ebay auction. My betting is they will pull it shortly before it finishes, probably stating that there was an error in the listing. Feel free to join the frenzy.  :)

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/10x-Bitmain-Antminer-S5-In-UK-Next-Day-Delivery-/181824211468?hash=item2a55914a0c

Update Well that's interesting. My bid has just been Cancelled as being a "Spam Bid" there was nothing to indicate that other than if they are monitoring this Forum....

Actually nothing Spam about my bid all. I would happily pay £2000 + for 10 S5's...

They seem to have added a new website.

http://directminers.co.uk/

The package 10 S5's above are now at £1371 with 46 bids. just under 4 days to run, assume it will be pulled shortly before it ends, as they will not want paypal payments, and the ebay people will not have BC.

The new website also has an ebay auction for a single S5 again with a brand new ebay account.

Well the Mainland-Mining ebay add for a package of 10 Antminer S5 has just over an hour to run.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/10x-Bitmain-Antminer-S5-In-UK-Next-Day-Delivery-/181824211468?hash=item2a55914a0c

Currently has 52 bids and is up to £2400 so £240 each which would be a very nice price.

So it just remains to be seen if they pull it shortly before the end or let it run through and then contact the winner and under bidders with some sort of offer?

Can't see them accepting Paypal and the Website has this cute payment term.

Quote
What payment methods do you accept?

To keep our operating costs down and to avoid fraud we only accept Bitcoin as payment

Their other Directminers site has an even cuter condition.

Quote
What payment methods do you accept?

To keep our operating costs down and to avoid fraud we only accept Bitcoin as payment. We do not accept any other payment method, if you want to pay using PayPal or Credit Card please find another site to buy from.

Let's hope nobody loses any money on this one.

Has anyone got a copy of:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Bitcoin-Bitmain-Antminer-S5-1155GH-s-Next-Day-Delivery-/252050167545?hash=item3aaf5c56f9

as I need this for evidence against them... I printed it to send in a letter to Google Inc. for a civil subpoena (disclosure of data held by Google) but I have not copy of mine now.

It seems either the perpetrator(s) or eBay pulled the page out.

If you have any more evidence, please get in touch on pm.

I look at this way any time anyone sells to low on something i would question it because how can they stay in business and sells below cost unless what they have they took illegally or other illegally means of getting . or there running a scam with no gear and your screwed. more then likely if it's to good to be true then it's fake not always but 99 % of the time it is.
