currently at "blocks" : 45,and counting

Coin properties
Coin typeLitecoin (Scrypt)
Halving210000 blocks
Initial coins per block50 coins

Coinbase maturity10 blocks
Premine0 %
Max coinbase21000000 + 0 = 21000000 coins

Make an announcement topic and wait for people who might interested in your coin. To be honest a simple LTC clone without any fancy feature or good looking service in the background is not really competitive in these days, so I wouldn't expect too much attention. Maybe you can use it for playing and learning with your friends. Anyway, good luck with your experiment.

Yeap, the specs are pointing to a creation by coincreator. i hope you have created the coin for learning issues only, not for a serious payment option. Otherwise, you will fail without the knowledge you are asking for ;)

Congratz to OP. You created your own first digital money. But it seems you have no clue what you have done. No problem.
I advise you to read in the beginner & help section. Cryptospace needs some time to understand. And it seems you wanted to do step 2 and leave out step 1. Gain some knowledge first and then start acting. ;)

No, it will not have any effect to the crypto world, only to its personal bitcoin stake, since he paid for something that will not have value at all.

I... think you're kind of tackling this backwards. Generally people know where they want to go with a coin before they create one?

I remember the first time I cloned a Coin, it was a quiet spring day and the leaves were rustling with an odd vibrance. It was amazing to watch the first Block tick by and all the magical internet money being raked in, I was a millionaire, billionaire even, like Ben Bernanke I had the power to create unlimited inflation and watch as those Stakes compounded (it was a CommunityCoin clone). As I sat mesmerized by my own creation, I began to wonder "what's next?" the ghost of Uncle Ben appeared before me and whispered "with great power comes great responsibility". It was then I learned what it meant to be True Crypto, only a few people will ever understand what it means to be True Crypto and I hope one day you will understand too :)

There are too many Alt coins now, unless it is special I don't see how it is going to take off.

Make an Op topic, then start to make hype promises, like once in a week tell people bot or anon bank destroyer tech or some crap like that, is coming. remember to name it with cool big letters like POW or POS etc. Then you just wait and investors start to buy :)

This is a good idea! Remember to make lots and lots of promises and use fancy graphics, the tech does not matter because innovative does not make a coin. A coining be used by the world that make a coin. If you are really creative you can tell people it has this special mining that no one else has and just give people the wallets but don't release the source code so that they won't know. You can call this special mining Proof of *name* like Proof of Heathen (POH) Proof of Boredom (POB) but it has to sound like it is doing something special. You could probably just use Microsoft Paint to make the pictures, and roadmaps are really good because lots of people will give you their BTC if you can make a believable roadmap.

or trade it for that matter?

Trading involves two parties, but the trick is the second party has to actually want what it is you are trading.  Good luck?

Not sure what you're trying to accomplish, but seems to me you need to know how to walk before you can start asking how to run.
